Does the intended job well
Ran out of thermal paste and stumbled upon this stuff. I saw that it had decent reviews so in wont my order. I needed it next day and THAT is what swung me to try it. Glad I did because it turned out to be good heat sink paste. You get a fair amount for the price and it is pure paste. No separation in the tube like many others so there is absolutely no wasted product. A little goes a long way so this will last me for some time to come.

Quantity over quality here
Great that it's a GIANT tube but seems to be of lower quality than I'm used to. Came out watery on first application and even after shaking and reapplying I still am getting higher than adequate CPU temps.

Good product
My need for this is not for use in building new equipment, rather it is to replace similar products in units where components have overheated to the point of turning resistors into crispy little items that crumble when you remove them. I needed this product to repair a Ten-Tec Triton II which had fried transistors (Q2/Q3) on the Driver Board. The two 10 Ohm resistors between the emitters were unrecognizeable and disintegrated upon removal. All 5 of the transistors on this board had "Top-Hat" type heat sinks. Although only 2 of these transistors were defective, given the early '70's vintage of the equipment I removed all 5 top hats, cleaned them and re-coated them with this new compound. So far all is well and the heat transfer seems to be working.

It's thermal paste, yes, it is 20 grams of product...
Seems like standard cheap thermal paste, works fine for heatsink use on a CPU or any other memory chips, etc. It is 20g net weight of product. I've purchased 3.5 or 5g tubes with the syringe style, those are way less product than this. Photo of bottle on scale, not 100% accurate probably but close enough.

I have an old pc. By old I mean 12 years old. I clean it regularly and it works fine. Only thing I've never done is replace the thermal paste. Since the last clean the cpu fan became noisy, the original paste had completely dried up and was all but residue so the heat transfer to the heatsink was poor. Remedied that this morning after receiving this product yesterday. Works as intended, cpu fan is now super silent once again instead of going full bore. Also like the fact that this is not a one-shot product as many of the other ones for sale are and for less cost than the one-shots. Highly recommend.

No issues with this stuff. It goes on evenly and works perfectly well and my CPU is within the temp ranges it's meant to be. Good price as well. Recommended.

Good but gloopy
It comes out a bit quick and sloppy if you're used to using thermal paste. Seems to have done the trick so far replacing old paste such was causing an overheating problem. Proof is in the pudding, but it will take a while before the pudding is ready to be critiqued !
