Use Epoxy on the Anchors
As other reviewers say, this thing is BIG. I mounted it into my garage floor. Did not need a hammer drill, just used an ordinary one. Pre-drilled the hole with a 3/16 inch concrete drill, then with a 5/8" concrete drill I bought here on Amazon. I noticed that the small drill bit tended to wander around a little bit (off center), so you have to watch that until the hole gets deep enough. I was talking to a guy over at Home Depot about putting anchors into the concrete, and he said the just the anchors by themselves would pull out. He said for stuff like that you have to epoxy the anchors into the hole - but he said you would never get them out once they are set. So that's what I did. Just got some general purpose epoxy and smeared it on the sides of the anchor before inserting them into the hole. Rock solid installation. I suppose if someone really wanted to get these anchor brackets out, they would get them out no matter what you do, or what bracket you use. I'm just trying to stop crimes of opportunity. Don't want to make it easy for someone to walk off with my motorcycle if one of the kids leaves the garage door open.

A miracle of modern science; this is the anchor for you.
When I'm looking for anchor brackets nothing hits the spot more than the Trimax TFA6. From its sleek weather resistant and stylish deep black tones to the two superiorly centered anchor holes for the screws I just can't help but be amazed by how modern science has allowed the mundane chore of securing items into the realm of recreational bliss now that I have this TFA6. The TFA6 is currently mounted vertically on a cement wall to help us expand possibilities and prevent accidental human trippage as we use cable lock to secure our A Frame sidewalk sign. Not a day goes by that I'm not thankful for the miracle of the TFA6 and any of the TFA5 of the past who made innovation possible to rise to this level.

Strong, Secure, and Safe
I like these floor anchors. This item are Strong, Safe, and Secure. Extremely easy to install. Very pleased with this purchase.

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.... or anchor...
Okay so the plate is good it's big and looks tough.... but...... the hardware ( bolts and anchors) .... seem to be junk...... I'm not sure if my problem is with one or the other of both..... but I've had this installed in my car port drive way which is where my motorcycle is stored usually. ... but had it at a shop for a few days so I decided to park my car in the same area my bike sits ..... end of a long story is when I pulled my car up accidentally bumped into the device with the tire not hard just a slight tap ..... now it's seems loose in fact I was able to unscrew the bolts with my fingers even though the ball bearings were lodged in place ..... I did everything right made sure the holes were clean not over drilled ..... tighten everything really hard and now I need to find new bolts and anchors personal want the ones that are tamper proof ......... the price for this unit was on part at first but with an additional cost of doing it over and extra hardware maybe I should have spent a few more dollars for some of the other competitors. ..... if anybody can help point me In The right direction of perhaps provide me info to fixing this delima that would be great thank you Update# so I called customer service so disappointed how I was talked to there special technician... Was ignorant and either didn't care about my issue or to unqualified to understand the actually product he did say that they get these straight from China pre packaged..... And has never opens one up ..... But wasted my time pretending to know the product it didn't take long to call his bluff he said he could not me and that this company didn't have anybody that could give me any information..... He did explain that I should used liquid nails in the anchor hole prior to bolting done the device but his credentials were limited on his lack to even stay afloat with the conversation..... As disappointed with trimax..... Do your self a favor spend he extra money and make sure its made in the USA.....

I bought this one and the Oxford OX439 to compare the two. They both will do the job but the Oxford has a significantly better design. It's a lot easier to get a pry bar into the Trimax opening in order to obtain leverage if someone wanted to pry it away from the wall or ground. If you were to try the same with the Oxford, you would only be able to use the leverage bar against the base plate which wouldn't be very effective. Hope that makes sense but if you picture trying to pry either you will know what I mean. Plus the the chain, U-Lock or whatever you are using will somewhat cover the anchors on the Oxford but on the Trimax the anchors are completely exposed. The cement anchors included with the Oxford are complete junk and I ended up using the ones which were included with the Trimax which were much better quality.

It's larger for the same price ...
This product is the same as the Oxford OF439 BruteForce Hardened Bolt-Down Mini Ground AnchorOxford OF439 BruteForce Hardened Bolt-Down Mini Ground Anchor . At the time I purchased that to see if it is what I want (it is) and when I went to purchase it again, it was only available from a different vendor for a higher pricer. So I looked further and found this Trimax floor anchor. It is the same design for installation and for function however it is larger than the Oxford product. I like it better as I can fit a bit more in it - Chains and cables (I am using a Trimax THEX50 THEX Super Chain - 5' Length with HEX 11mm Links and Brinks 16mm threaded cable). With the Prime shipping it's a better deal and I would recommend it to a friend.

Excellent article.

Incomplete
This product arrived incomplete. It was missing all the screws (only the black bracket arrived). We needed to use it immediately, so did not have time to return it and wait for another one.
