Good!
Works well! I use it to clean powder off my make brushes when switching colours. The sponges they make for that purpose are much more expensive but are exactly the same as this.

Works well with the facepaint
I used it with the green snazaroo face paint for my Poison Ivy cosplay for Halloween. Made life so much easier to apply the paint. Worth the money.

They are the cheapest ones out there and work just fine with my Wolfe FX paints
I do a lot of sponge work with face painting and these work just as well as any other sponges. They are the cheapest ones out there and work just fine with my Wolfe FX paints. I face-paint professionally and these are the perfect size for use of arty cake pallets and for kids' faces. My only complaint is that they do not last as long as the more expensive high density foam sponges, but for the price I can not complain

Great coverage and control!
Works great for Snazaroo pan make-up! Wet the sponge a bit, and (my 15 year old wanted to be a character with gray skin), and it was easy to achieve with gray Snazaroo pan make-up (I thought it would take a LOT of make-up, but it didn't!). The sponges were more dense than originally thought, as well! Great coverage and control, if you're getting Snazaroo make-up, I wouldn't recommend NOT getting these. We covered a HUGE area, FAST! I would buy THESE OVER regular, dense sponge variety - which I THOUGHT would do a better job, but I was wrong!

Very nice, but hard to clean
I used it for face painting. It was very nice to work with, but it’s not easy to clean. I had to get a new sponge about every 3 to 4 kids. I like to cut them in half, because it’s not only easier to work with, it keeps me from going through so many sponges. I also feel that they are a little pricey. They do do the job nicely!

Great for taking off eyeshadow from your brush and using it again right away.
I use these sponges to clean my eyeshadow brushes when I want to use the same brush with a different shadow when I'm doing my eyes. I only do this when I'm working on one look. This doesn't take the place of washing my brushes but it's perfect for a quick clean.

Great product
This made face paint easy to apply - even on a wriggly 1 year old. I was able to paint a simple design on two young children for Halloween. Very impressed

Excellent dupe for color switch
I don't use this as a beard stipples. I use it to wipe of my makeup brushes, and get eyeshadow off them. Works identically to the color switch from Sephora (for 10 times less the price).

Perfect first kit
Excellent products to use, best set to start with for beginners. Also purchased extra sponges and 3 set brushes with this kit, the brushes are a MUST to make brilliant faces!
