My feet love these shoes
This was my third pair. I have wide feet and low arches and bunions and these shoes are great for around town and dog walks. I can wear them all day.

Only shoes I wear
Spenco slides are the only shoes I wear. They are very comfortable, have great support, are washable, and they fit me like a glove.

The Fit Changes
In my search to find the ultimate "house shoes" for my plantar fasciitis, I stumbled upon these. Actually, in looking up the top 10 shoes for arch support, these showed up on multiple lists. I was super excited to order them and see how they'd work. In several of the reviews, customers were describing foot problems identical to mine so I thought these would be perfect. I half love them, half dislike them. What do I love? --They are super stylish (at least, to my tastes). I've gotten a lot of compliments on them and because of that, am considering buying a second pair to wear outside of the house. --I like the variety of colors to choose from. --I like the cork insole. That's nice. --They do have arch support, and it doesn't break down over time. --They have a nice, deep heel cup and help remove some of the pressure and stress from the heel. What don't I like? --They stretch. When I first got these, I thought I might have to exchange them for a size up they were so snug. I knew they would stretch a tiny bit (and my feet are definitely not wider feet--they aren't super-narrow but I will say just a little bit more on the slim side) but not THIS much. They are too roomy now and because of that, the arch support is not as effective. I will say that I wear them every moment I'm inside my house (my doc says I can't go barefoot at all anymore) so with as much as I've been wearing them, that may play a part in why they've stretched so much. I have five kids and am constantly moving. For a less active individual, they maybe wouldn't stretch as much? --They make my feet sweat. This is not a problem I've had before with ANY shoe. I'm not sure if it's the cork insole or what but I actually have to wear them with a thin pair of socks now (which I HATE) because of how sweaty my feet get. Gross, I know. But ya'll need to know this stuff if you're considering buying them. Those are the only two things about this shoe I don't like, but to me those are two pretty big cons. I can't afford to NOT be picky about my shoes anymore, so it's important that they fit right when I buy them and stay that way. Although the fit isn't what I want and I do have to wear socks with them, I still like them. I would consider getting another pair.

Very comfortable
I was looking for a good traveling/ walking shoe, I hesitated in buying these due to some of the negative reviews. I accidentally put them on my wish list instead of shopping list while considering options. My son saw them on my list and sent them to me for Mother’s Day. What a wonderful surprise ! These are so comfortable and great for walking. The arch support is just perfect. I need a good arch support but not one too high, this shoe fits the bill. I don’t like cramming my feet into the toe of a shoe and these give a comfortable amount of breathing room without being loose. I tend to wear Birkenstock shoes and these give a little less room in the toe. If you have a narrow foot these most likely would not be for you. Admittedly I was not sure about the boxie look initially but changed my opinion quickly. The insole is a cork type material (or at least appears to be) which adds additional comfort. These are so comfortable I bought a second pair. Unlike other reviews, I have had no issues with the seams coming apart, or the toe being too wide. Highly recommend- great for walking without looking like you are heading to the gym.

Adorable and so comfy!
I really like these shoes. They are cute and comfortable and easy to wear. I got the pink and it is a nice, soft pink with a kind of tweed look to the fabric. The arch support is great and the metatarsal dome that some mentioned bothered them did not bother me at all. I loved it. I have problems with the tendons in my right ankle (aching and pain) and with the ball of my left foot (pain and numbness) and these shoes alleviate all pain and aching I otherwise feel when going barefoot on my hardwood floors- or when walking long distances (particularly on my elliptical). When measured, I am an exact size 7 1/2, but I almost always purchase an 8 as they nearly always feel better on my foot. I was unsure of which size to purchase in these shoes because of that! Most people said they ran large and wide, so I decided to size down from my "actual shoe size" of 7 1/2 to a size 7. The size 7 shoes fit me, barefoot, exactly- with no extra room on the back of the heel. I would have a hard time wearing a sock, particularly a thicker sock, with the size 7. I probably could have worn the size 8, but will never know now! I am keeping these as I had planned on wearing them barefoot anyway. There is plenty of toe room and the top of my foot doesn't ever get sore or fall asleep from tightness like lace-up shoes do to me. My one complaint, which is why I took off one star, is that my feet do sweat a bit next to the "cork" footbed. It is not actually cork, but has the look of cork. I think actual cork would work better than this material, but I can live with it. Very cute shoe! Can't wait to wear them with shorts in the summer time!

Not cork insoles
The shoes fit well and are comfortable, but the footbed is not made from natural cork. The shoes get stinky and I have to wash the insoles often. Not at all what I want in a shoe I wear every day around the house, without socks.
