Hate Corn Silk Stuck In Your Teeth? Then Get This
I am one of those people whose teeth are tightly packed together, so whenever I eat corn on the cob (which I love), I always, always, always get corn silk stuck between them. So annoying! So I was looking around to see if there was any product that would be able to remove it from the cob more quickly than by hand when it is shucked. Imagine my surprise to see that apparently everyone and his brother has a miracle product out there to get rid of the corn silk. I carefully read the reviews for most of the products and decided to go withBrushtech Sweet Corn Silk Removing Brush since it has a lot of positive reviews. It was a very good choice! The brush reminds me of one that my mother had around the house when I was a kid (I don't remember what it was for, but the bristles were harsh). The bristles on this brush are soft and pliable and work well to scrape the silk off the corn quickly. The first time I used it, I held the corn over a piece of paper towel just to see how much of the silk it removed, and it was a substantial amount. My sister mocks me because I use it, but now I can eat corn on the cob without picking at my teeth for hours afterward. Before I used it, I washed it in the dishwasher on the top rack without a problem. You use it by scraping it against the corn; the corn does not fit through the middle of the brush. I brushed the corn both horizontally and vertically to pull out and remove the silks, and that method worked well. So if you find corn silk annoying, get this product. I highly recommend it.

It works on ccorn
Only use this brush for getting the silk off of sweet corn. Use it dry and a gentle brush stroke and the silk is removed. Do not use for scrubbing potatoes or other hard veggies! This is a nice soft brush and does not damage the corn kernals, just gets the silk off.

Exactly what I was looking for
Corn silkers are harder to find these days and this one is just the perfect one. It's large enough to get the job done, but the bristles are soft and will not damage or puncture the corn kernels.

Works
It does the job that it designed to do, it's sturdy and seems like it'll last for years, a good value for the buck.

Not Recommended
This is just a toilet brush made in a more pleasing color and attached to a smaller handle. It works OK, but it is almost too big. The brush is so wide that you are only using a small surface area at any one time. Add in that the bush has less density of bristles than smaller, handheld brushes and you get an average result. I also felt like it was slightly more damaging to the corn because you have to do more exaggerated movements to make up for the bristles being further apart. It works, so I have to give 3 stars, but there are way better options available.

Use this right and it will ease your cleaning.
This brush works very well compared to another silicone bristle brush also sold on Amazon. There is a technique when using this I've found. We had 3 people try this brush and the silicone brush. This brush worked well when users weren't afraid to brush the cob with the wand lengthwise to the corn using a somewhat firm action, flipping the silk off the cob without damaging the kernels. When used with a light touch, it didn't do as nice a job.

This product really works!
I don't know about you, but I love fresh corn, but cannot stand removing the silks. It is a tiring job, and you always seem to miss a few. At first I was really skeptical about this as it looks like a cleaning brush or old toilet brush! It arrived, and I tried it, and to my surprise it really works! It is one of those items that you say, "why didn't I think of that?" Well luckily, Brushtech did, and if you want to remove the corn silk then get this product!

Performs as well as i expected
If you are buying this thinking it will magically remove EVERY piece of silk then keep looking. It does, however, do a pretty good job of getting most of it.
