Best brush dryer I’ve tried
After a year of burning my fingers on a cheaper version of this tool I decide to upgrade. Already owned a Drybar straightener which has been great so chose this dryer. I have a long layered bob with long bangs and the round brush gives just enough volume and curl. Also tried the Jump Start serum and seems to work great without building up on the roots. With any brush dryer you need to expect to either let your hair air-dry to damp, or use a regular dryer to get most of the moisture out before you use this tool and it will work great.

I felt silly spending this much money on a hair dryer but oh, wow, I'm so grateful I did. I dreaded drying my thinning, fine hair after each wash. Even with my expensive hair dryer and brush, I always ended up with a limp, flat, flyaway mess. I actually stopped washing it as much because I would get so frustrated. Enter the Drybar Single Shot. I am simply amazed at how easy it is to style my medium-short bob perfectly with volume, professional-looking waves, and zero frizz. If you are unsure about this purchase like I was, worry no more — that is, if you want to look like you walked out of the salon every time you wash your hair.

The brush us too thick
While it does a good job of drying the hair, the brush is thick and difficult to manipulate when styling . This is more suited for people who have long thick hair than medium length hair.

Great dryer!
I bought this dryer for my granddaughter, who works as a cosmetician. She likes it a lot, and although she doesn't do hair styling, she says it works great on her hair, which is very thick and straight. I'm glad because the price is a little high, but it was worth it. She uses it nearly every day, so it's a very quality dryer! Suitable for a beautician, too.

I was a little nervous buying this after seeing all the “used” brushes that people were getting. I got mine. Brand new. I bought it based on the recommendation of my hairdresser as the Revlon brush I was using was frying my hair. Worked great. No issues.
