Cleans very well
I was able to use this to clean all my drains.

Wow!
After trying various liquid drain cleaners in a slow bathroom sink drain over the past year+, I finally decided to try something like this. Absolutely amazing! Took less than 3 minutes of minimal effort to snake the tool through the drain assembly and it would seem that the major clog must have been just after the drain entered the wall. I met some pretty good resistance there and I just kept holding pressure down while trying to twist it a bit back and forth. As to be expected, I had to fight the spring wanting to give a bit while applying force but when it finally broke through, that was it! I had the water running slowly while using the tool and the sink had been getting close to full and as soon as that clog broke free it drained in seconds! After taking a few minutes to appreciate just how quickly and easily this tool did the job, I went around and did all the other bathroom sink drains too, just for fun! It actually pulled a bit of hair out of one drain, even though it had been working mostly fine. I'll never bother with liquid drain cleaners again, for sure. I should have bought something like this years ago!

Excellent Bathroom Sink Drain Brush
This product performed much better than expected. Some reviewers had issues getting the brush past pipe bends but I found this brush to be perfect for the job. Inserting any flexible drain tool into a pipe and past 'P' traps and elbows requires finesse. Generally, you can't just push it straight through. And it's not intended for clearing clogged/plugged drains. My drains, like most descend into a 'P' trap and then into a 90 degree elbow before entering the wall. Gunk can collect on the inner walls all along this path. I was able to insert all 48 inches of this tool into my drains. I first inserted the tool until I felt the first 'obstruction' or pipe bend. I then began applying pressure, then rotating the wire clockwise about 90 degrees and continuing to increase the pressure. The bristles occupy just one half of the head which facilitates getting it around the bends. Once the tool was fully in the pipe I began short push-pull movements while rotating the handle to scrub the walls. I kept hot water flowing while scrubbing. I slowly worked the tool back out of the drain a few inches at a time. When the tool was out of the drain I found a small amount of hair and debris in the bristles but most material had been flushed away. One final thought. For decades bathroom sink drains have used stoppers activated by a rod near or in the fixture. This design is great for catching hair because a portion of the activation rod is in the drain pipe just below the sink. I retrofitted my drains with pop up stoppers. With this style stopper, the drain tube connecting to the bottom of the sink is replaced with a new tube that is smooth walled with no stopper rod inside. My drains no longer snag hair. I just periodically clean the gunk build up.

Makes drain cleaning a cinch!
Our drains were getting slow and, therefore, a bit stinky. I hate using caustic products like Draino if I don't have to, so the idea of a cleaning brush appealed to me. This brush did the trick beautifully (and for me, did a MUCH better job than any drain cleaning liquid/foam/whatever, that I've used in the past). It was so easy...dare I say...fun? It slipped down the vanity drains in the bathroom lickety-split as I ran hot water and worked it up and down as I fed it along the length of pipe to scrub the sides down of muck. Not a huge mess to clean up once I slipped it out of the drain either. I was able to sneak it through the grate on my kitchen drain (although probably not something I should do twice or I might lose the brush head), but it cleaned that beautifully too! I had a bunch of cat hair that hung things up after bathing the cat and forgetting to put a catch-screen in the drain. Because of the drain grate being narrow, I used one of those long drain-cleaning strips of plastic with the keyed teeth on the sides (that's a separate product that doesn't come with this one; mine was from Lowe's or Home Depot). This slid all that mucky hair out with ease, and now my drain is flowing with no issues and is clean as a whistle! I highly recommend this Brushtech brush to any homeowner—I only wish I'd bought one years ago! It's durable enough that I think it will last a long time.

OMG: Why Oh Why Did I Not Try This To Begin!!!!
After trying countless chemical drain cleaners, because the previous owners of our house glued the entire sink trap together making disassembly impossible, I recently thought what about a baby’s bottle brush on a long flexible shaft. And guess what, Amazon has it. I followed the simple directions of start running hot water and slowly feed it into the drain with an up and down stroke. While doing this the sink continued to fill as usual. Within about 1 minute, the sink all of a sudden drained. Whatever had been blocking the flow and was resilient to countless chemicals cleared. I then spent another 2 minutes repeating the whole procedure to ensure the pipe insides were fully scrubbed. Carefully withdrew it from the drain to prevent being splashed with an unknown goo and found the brush essentially clean. I rinsed it off, put it back in the bag, and told the wife Mission Accomplished. She was utterly amazed it was that easy and quick. We have been fighting this slow drain for years and in a handful of minutes it’s fixed for good. Well worth the ~$12 investment and couple of minutes of your time. You’ll spend way more than that on chemical solutions that may or may not work. If only I had known something like this existed years ago, I would have saved so much chemical compound money and worry about a sink overflowing. I don’t do this because often, if ever, but I highly recommend everyone buy one now for any current or potential future issues. It is kind of like keeping a good flashlight in the house should the power go out. You may never need it, but if you do it’s there. A kind of cheap insurance policy, so to speak.

Fine but not long enough
It’s an OK device but it didn’t work for me, about half as long as it needed to be. Definitely not extra long. Make sure you measure before you buy. Now have to buy another.

Cleans the Bathroom drain.
After trying baking soda and vinegar and other chemicals from the hardware store, i decided to buy this brush to clean the drain pipe of the black gunk that was making it drain very slowly. Once I removed the stopper, I followed the directions (run hot water down the drain while inserting and removing the brush) and found the drain pipe to be spotless! The brush is the perfect size for the drain from a bathroom sink. Since the gunk seems to accumulate over time, i have the brush for next time the sink drains slowly. i wish i had found this brush years ago. I would have saved a some money on different chemicals trying to fix the slow drain.

Soon to be my favorite tool
What a great tool, see the pictures, just run hot water for a few minutes to get the pipes warm, scrub the pipe while the hot water is running and you have a nice clear running drain. be careful pulling the brush up so as not to loose the bristles, the spring wire is just folded over and can catch on the crosses.

Chemical free solution!
Great product. Bought to clear clogs in my washrooms drains. Chemical free solution. Will pay for itself in time as I don’t need chemicals to unclog my drains anymore.
