Some useful items, some not so much

Okay, starting from the outside in: The "tackle box" this comes in is useless (even if the latch hadn't been broken), I threw it away. In the way of lures, there are a bunch of the usual cheap jigs and plastic worms that come with all these kits. If you've ever bought a tackle kit you've already got plenty of these. What you might not have are the two nice spoons and cute little spinner rig that are in here. The selection of sinkers is excellent, with an assortment of split shot sinkers in three sizes plus a couple of sliding "bullet" sinkers I didn't have. The four floats are nice. Most of the 137 pieces are hooks, of course. Unfortunately all of these are too small for anything but bait fish. They do come in a handy little container that will keep them from spilling all over my tackle box. There are also some small spinners and snaps that could be useful with very light tackle. The small pieces came in a little divided spin-top box that I'm holding on to. The little hand held line is a joke as is the multi-purpose plastic tool. The stringer line will useful. All in all, worth about what I paid for it.

Pretty Nice Little Setup for the Money

For ten bucks, you really cant lose. This thing has all the basic essentials for fishing and it all comes packed and organized neatly in its own little case. I think the case has been redesigned (the product image on Amazon is no longer accurate) and I have not experienced any durability issues with the new design, nor do I doubt it will hold up to several years of light use. The floats don't seem to be well constructed but they should do their job just fine. Everything else looks good. I purchased this tackle box as part of an ultralight and inexpensive fishing kit for backpacking. Along with this kit, I got: Zebco 11 Micro Fishing Fishing Reel Proton 6' 5 Sec Tele Spincast

Great for a starter fishing set

Nice starter set. A ton of hooks and some lures/spinners/flies and alot of fake bait. Sinkers and bobbers as well. If you don't have anything at home this will get you started for small fish off the dock or from the shore. It's not a high end kit and it is one size fits all so chances are if you hit the water with this you'll have something that will work, but not everything you'll ever want.

Just What I Needed

I am not much of a fisherman, but did find a few old rods and reels at the parents lake house, sans tackle. I wanted to take the kids out fishing for fun so ordered this kit. It contained all we needed to set up three rigs with the basics with plenty of leftover parts. A very cost effective way for one to get started.

Decent little kit

This kit is decent, I got it to put in my B.O.B due to there being a numerous lakes in my near vicinity. The plastic case is huge and I took everything out of it and put it into a ziplock bag to save space, could use the case to hold something else (nuts, bolts, screws, crafts, etc.)
