Punched holes in my vehicle frame ... even with out piloting it fist. 12 holes later the bit is still sharp.

Barely adequate.

These are very cheap drill bits, which, honestly, is why I bought them. I needed to drill 2 10mm holes in about 3/8" steel and I knew I would never need these again. I had to pre-drill the holes with a good quality 3/8" bit that I had and barely enlarge the holes with these bits so I wasn't asking much from them, but they barely made it through that simple task. Their material is probably decent quality for HSS bits, but they were poorly ground at the cutting points and dull. If you have only a couple of holes to drill and/or very soft material to drill in, these may suffice, though I doubt they would make clean holes in much of anything without being properly resharpened. Also, I worked in a machine shop for 3 1/2 years so I know my way around drill bits.

Not that great.

Does not make clean cuts. I have similar drill bits bought at local store that do much better. Not sure what the issue is, may be the rake angle? Anyway too expensive to return. Keeping it for rough work.

I should have read the other reviews. I needed to make a 10mm hole. These bits are not 10mm when you mic them out. They are at least .010" undersized.
