Mini Magnetic Trivet Great New Addition to Lodge Cookware
Love the Mini Magnetic Trivet. Very convenient to protect your countertops from the high heat of your skillets. Magnets on top prevent the pan from sliding off the trivet (like a cast iron trivet could do) and the underneath "rubber" grips with good staying power to the counter top. Dishwasher safe is a plus though a quick rinse is all I seem to need. I would use caution because the trivet will stick to your pan if you pick the pan up so you do not place it back on your stove eye. It is made of silicone and I do not know if it would melt if you placed it on your stove eye. I am not an expert there but I just remain cautious. I would not want to test it! I still love it and use it often.

Accidentally BBQ’d it, This Thing is SUPER Durable
Sometimes, I do stupid things. Suffice it to say, I can vouch that cooking an entire pack of bacon, in a cast iron skillet, on the grill, with this trivet attached to the bottom, resulted in minimal damage at the maximum temperature. It seems that the magnets are less effective now... highly recommend. The trivet was too hot to touch for 10 minutes after discovering my error.

love the magnets, prevent slipping when i use them to stack pots on top of pans on top of one another in kitchen cabinets for easy use. help prevent bottoms of pots pans from scratching or putting dents on other metal surfaces. silicone perfect to put hot cookware on, plus i slap on the fridge doors when pots/pans in use until i need them for storage again. perfect design, must have for stacking cookware safely and securely!

I LOVE the Lodge Silicone Magnet Trivets! I have the 3.5 inch skillets and they work with them! I they are a perfect fit for the 5 inch! Ordering more just incase we have company! (I like to cook and serve in these, but they have always been a problem serving with them and putting them on the table. These solved that problem!

Stuck on me (my pans)
Who knew silicone and magnets could be this useful? I use cast iron pans quite often. I like having the trivet not only protect objects from the heat, but also protect them from the heavy cast iron pans. I bought two trivets and keep them on the pans I use most often. I wondered about the quality of the magnets before I bought it. The rare earth magnets are quite strong and the trivet will not accidentally release from the pan.

Magnets unnecessary
I'm not sure what I'm going to ever do with this thing. I like it as a heat protector but I dislike the magnets because I forget they are there and I am terrified that I will forget the stupid thing is stuck to the bottom of my pan, and I will put it on the hot stove

WONDERFUL
Used it the other night to bring a hot skillet to the table for fresh fajitas. Didn't allow the skillet to make contact with the wood lazy susan. Also made the skillet stay in place as it was spun around to serve.
