Works great and at just $10 dollars each!
I've had Wi-Fi bulbs for a few years now. Mom lost mobility and they got the job done. Problem with Wi-Fi bulbs when you lose power they turn on after it's restored. Cheap kind I got frequently had to be setup in the app again. Finally got a smart things hub and got these switches because I lack neutrals in most switch boxes. These require a neutral of course but they can be installed at the fixture. I love the low power control voltage for the original wall switch too. It is not looking for power on now but a change of state. " Ridiculous to have it so vulnerable and not even so much as a sticker to tell you to be careful not to do this." Of course that will break if it shorts. You need a sticker to remind you not to apply power to something that's not done being wired? I'm planning on ordering 8-12 more and at $10 bucks each they're a steal.

Works "mostly" with Philips Hue
I was surprised how quickly Philips Hue hub found this device. It seems to work perfectly thus far. However, the catch on this one is it is a simple On/Off and does not have any dimming ability. If it had dimming, it would be the perfect companion to Philips Hue. But for the price, I consider it a bargain!

Reliable, easy to install - but watch out with the GPIO / Switch pins!
I use these with Zigbee2MQTT in Home Assistant - I have 6 installed in various switch boxes, inside fluorescent light fixtures, all over the place. They quickly pair to your existing zigbee network and I've had them installed over a year without them dropping off the network. There's 2 minor problems you should look out for, however. 1. The housing is a little bit flimsy. If you press hard enough on the housing, you can trigger the hardware button. And holding the hardware button puts it into pairing mode. On my first install inside a wall box, some of the wires were pressed up against the box and it kept going into pairing mode. Just make sure you have good placement for the relay inside the wall box. 2. Do not let the 2 switch lines short to ground. This can be especially difficult if you have a metal junction box. If they do, you hear a little pop, and the switch functionality of the relay is fried. If this happens, you can still remotely turn the light on and off - you just can't use the local light switch any more. Outside of those problems, I can still recommend these if you're looking to automate your home

These little things are perfect.
After a long search for exactly this I am very pleased with their price, size and ability. I was finally able to control some wall lamps that shine onto paintings and my exterior lighting that I couldn’t change to smart bulbs. Paired instantly with the Philips Hue hub and they even act as repeaters to extend the range of your hub which is a bonus. Was so pleased I purchased more to automate other lights in my home. The ability to allow you to still attach the switch is also very handy. Just be careful of how much load you’re apply to them as they state maximum 10 amps. Not really a problem if you’re just controlling LED lights. Just a side note, I saw a couple reviews of people complaining about functionality with Philips Hue. I don’t think it’s a problem with this product rather a glitch on the Hue app. If controlling the SONOFF with automation or routines with the Hue app, it seems to have a problem turning the device off. It will turn it on just fine. It will show it turning off in the app but never actually does and then it shows it came back on. But I found using another app such as Smart Things or even Alexa, it works perfectly and turns off the relay when it should. So just don’t use the Hue app for turning it off but everything else works fine.

Excellent Device if you know what you're doing. If not probably try something more standard.
For all of those saying these are garbage and lose connection, I think you need to understand how the ZigBee protocol works. If you have one ZigBee router or "hub" in a normal sized house, this probably won't work well for you. Similar to Z wave, ZigBee works better the more wired devices you have. So if you have 3 or 4 of these spread out around your house rather than just one in the upstairs bedroom and the router in the basement, you'll probably have a lot more luck. For those saying these are too big, they're really not. If you learn to manage the wires properly, a standard US box with a light switch will fit these just fine. As far as a ZigBee "hub" goes, I personally hate Alexa and think the ZigBee integration is extremely basic at best. The sonoff hub will probably do the trick, but for those who have the time to invest in a proper smart home, I recommend purchasing a raspberry pi, or any small computer, with a USB ZigBee router and learning how to run Home Assistant. I guarantee this will change your life and open possibilities you had never previously thought of. Great Product. Excellent work sonoff.

Works well, one of smallest zigbee smart switch relay available
I have just installed three of these today and have two more to do. As with other users, getting the device to fit into the switch box is a concern, but was doable. The simple fact of connecting six wires to it takes the most room. Otherwise I think this is one of the smallest smart relays available with Zigbee protocol. In my case, I easily fit two relays into a USA 3-gang box with three rocker light switches, so size was not a big deal. They paired easily with home assistant (HAOS) running ZHA and I can turn them off, on, and view status. I can also confirm that they do work as Zigbee network repeaters. Others have lamented the instructions but I found that the manual available from the manufacturer's website was more than sufficient and in fairly clear English.

Connect S1 & S2 *Before* anything else.
Do not connect it to power before hooking it up to your switch. If S1 or S2 so much as look at the ground too hard, it breaks the switch functionality. Hook it up to your switch and put a wrap of electrical tape around the terminals to keep them from accidentally shorting to ground. Note that this isn't explained in the brief included instructions. Ridiculous to have it so vulnerable and not even so much as a sticker to tell you to be careful not to do this.

Small size, works well with Philips hue
After upgrading my normal ceiling light to a 4 light bar with 4 gu10 bulbs I didn’t want to spend £20 per bulb for Phillips hue so came across the sonoff switches. Wish I had found them earlier as I will be using more around the house.

Grande delusione

Einbindung in Homee problemlos möglich. Klare Kaufempfehlung von einer Seite!

Cannot be used in multi-switch (2-way/3-way) in most homes in Canada
I was very excited when this product was announced as it promised a way to convert existing "dumb" switches into smart switches. I was a little leary when all of the product promotional and instructional information was shown with European style light switches, but it also said it works in any style junction box so I decided to take a chance and give it a try, considering I can get 4 for basically the same price as one replacement Zwave or Zigbee switch. I've tried installing the ZBMINI 3 times so far, 2 of which have been successful. First was a simple circuit, one switch, one light, and it was pretty straight forward. I was able to add it to Smartthings easily using the eWelink zigbee switch device type and control worked immediately. 2nd attempt was to install in a 3-way switch configuration (2 switches controlling the same lights). Turns out, the ZBMINI is not compatible with most Canadian (or American) 3-way circuits, because they are configured with the hot line coming into one switch, 3-wire romex (hot, neutral and traveller) going to the next switch and then the load (lights) coming out of the 2nd switch location (picture attached). The ZBMINI cannot work in this setup as it requires the hot line (power from breaker panel) and the load (light fixtures) to be in the same box as both are wired into the ZBMINI directly. 3rd attempt was to replace another single switch, but this time the box had an additional 14-2 wire in a single gang, and fitting the ZBMINI, 2 wire nuts and the standard switch in a single gang box was a nightmare... It required some serious wire yoga to fit everything and even then it only barely did, and took nearly 30 minutes of pushing and twisting wires in various directions to get it to work. Overall I'm still fairly impressed with what you get for the price, and as long as you're using it to replace single switches in not overly-crowded boxes then its a rather good value. Just dont expect it to do half of what it promises and you'll be satisfied.
