Long Shelf life - easy application!!
I love, love, love, Snazaroo!!!!! I have been using their product for 6 years and still have some of the original colors i bought in 2017 and it still works great! I had originally tried this product due to the high humidity of where I lived and this stuff definitely does not disappoint, no melting or mixing while applied. I also used it in dryer places and it didn't dry out or crack after having it on for hours. I highly recommend this product, it is easy to clean off although colors like red or black may stain the skin a bit, HOWEVER if you use a primer prior to the paint, I find it is less likely to stain so keep that in mind. If I could I would give this product a 10 star rating!

The sponges are terrible but the brushes are great
I did a Suki costume from Avatar the Last Airbender and needed good opaque colors for coverage. The white on my face is Mehron Makeup Paradise Makeup AQ Face & Body Paint (1.4 oz) (White) from Amazon (which I also recommend), but the black and red is from this kit. (Please see image I uploaded). The sponges are horrible and scratchy and not worth anything, however, the brushes aren't too bad when it comes to application, I was impressed by that. The ease of application is nice, all you need is to put some water in the specific color you want to use, mix it thoroughly with the paint brush and you have the process to continue making useable face paint. When the paint on your face is wet, it will pick up other colors it touches if it is wet, so be aware of that (I learned that when I was doing my eye lids and around my eyes). Over all, I was very impressed and would recommend this for all face painting needs. I used it both in 2021 and 2022 only during October and it worked just as well the second year as it did the first. So longevity is also great!

The ONLY face paint
After reading many horror stories of injuries from face paint I wont use any other brand. These are rich in pigment and a kit like this will make dozens of children happy. I paint 100s of faces each year for our church and these kits are a great choice. They go a long way, they are rich in pigment so they cover with one stroke and the parents love that they wash off easily. I chose this kit because it had a nice assortment of colors and the instruction book contained some nice ideas to share with my helpers. I loved that I could paint with confidence that I was not doing harm and creating lots of smiles!

Great kit
First of all let me start off by saying this is a great product that suits its intentions perfectly. It is intended for people who want to face paint at a party but not professionally. Professional face paint costs about $15 to $20 PER COLOR. If you are going to be doing face painting long-term, go that route. If you want a really high quality face paint for one or two parties or however many faces the item description says you can do, this is definitely for you. With just a tiny TINY bit of water these colors go on smooth and opaque. You can do basically any traditional face paint design with these paints. The brushes that come with these are decent but you need face painting brushes if you plan on doing flowers or anything like that. They are inexpensive and if you search on Amazon you can find some for about $5. If you don't care that much about doing specific brush Strokes, the brushes that they give you will be okay, just not great. The sponges on the other hand are excellent. I do not recommend using latex free makeup wedges as they soak in the color and don't let it out. You want sponges similar to the texture that are in this kit. They're porous and soak in tons of color but they don't hold on to it at all when you press it up against skin. This is exactly what you want as you want the color to bleed out leaving an even opaque layer against the skin. Glitter in this kit is not great though. It is liquid glitter. Dry glitter is much easier to apply to wet face paint. The liquid glitter can be difficult to apply over places where you have multiple colors applied as it re-liquefies the paint, obviously because it's liquid, and causes everything to bleed or smear if you're not careful. If you plan on applying this to bare skin or over one solid color it would work okay but I really recommend getting a dry glitter that you can apply directly to wet face paint if glitter is important for the designs you want to do. Comes off really easily with just water. I like to hand out an unscented baby wipe that is designed for sensitive skin. I just put one wipe in a ziplock bag and hand it to the parent when they're kid is just sitting down to the table. Takes the color off great. It's also easier for little kids than holding their face over a sink! You may want two wipes if you plan on doing the full face. Really great kit for amateur face painters!

Perfect for a neighborhood fall festival!!
I purchased this (with the paint pen set) to use in a neighborhood fall festival face painting tent. I was worried about how thin the paint tins were however it held up nicely and I never ran out! Some of the colors required another coat but I was pleasantly surprised on the quality of the paint. I used it on myself as well and washed off very easily with water and left no stain on my skin. There was also no smell to the paint and worked for the kiddos with sensitive skin. Will definitely repurchase for future face painting events!

Great face paints, with a great color palette!
I was asked to paint faces for our town's Harvest Festival. Of course, kids now expect their entire face painted, and I was happy to do so. The organizer of the event bought me some oil-based face paints. I bought these, and the woman who did it last year had leftovers of another brand of water-based paints that she gave me. I practiced for hours with all of them, and I settled on using these paints almost exclusively. They went on so nicely, and they washed off so easily. They were a total success!

Good starter kit.
I really like the paints in this kit, my only complaint is how the cakes are packaged. It's really just a small annoyance, but does not detract from the good quality that these paints provide for children's face painting. I would consider it an entry level set.

Nice colours but skin stained
A nice little kit. Easy to work with. Not especially durable - a bit of sweat or a tickly nose rub and the paints come right off. Most colours wash off very easily but I found the orange and yellow stained the skin (even after micellar water, waterproof eye make up remover, face wash and a flannel) so I won't be painting my son as a tiger again any time soon...!

Packs a punch
Absolutely great pack, brought these for my little ones birthday party. Comes with great booklet of ideas and how to guide for them. The kids love looking through and choosing and the instructions are very clear. When I first got the pack I thought the colour pots were very small but a little goes a looking way and they're the gift that keeps on giving. I also thought the sponges didn't look great and tried using my own beauty blender but the sponges that came with worked alot better for the colours. Mixing water with them is super helpful. I'd buy these again for sure but I won't be needing to for a long time yet as they keep going forever. Fab set.

Easy to use and wash
Received it today. Fast delivery. Seems like quality paint. 2 pots if glitters. I will update when we use it. I am excited to see if it glides well. Update: at first I was disappointed when I saw the tiny little paint colours. I was not sure I would have a lot especially after reading you can make about 25 faces. After using it, I can attest that yes you can make that many faces. You might run out of some colours first. The booklet with ideas shows different make up ideas in 3 steps. It was easy to replicate them. The paintbrushes themselves were not fantastic. One of them is all open with very soft bristle so very useless. The other one was nice to fill out shapes but was a bit big to do outlines and small details. Get the little brush package sold separately if you want to have option. The paint itself was nice to use. I had a cup of water to dip my brush. It was very easy to wash, dry and wet. Maybe too easy as my daughter rubbed her face after a couple hours and it was erasing. Maybe I need to use less water but she was very happy to be a cute little kitty. It also comes with 4 white sponges, the two small one seen on the package and 2 bigger ones.

Good selection of colours. Tiny, (2mL), but a little goes a long way. I would say this set does more faces than it says it does.
