*Update* I was able to return the second size and get an Amazon credit for the different. The boots are great, comfortable if just a little tight in the ankle but I think that has more to do with foot size and getting the laces just right. They have a nice smooth grain to the leather and look great. I had ordered 2 pairs in different sizes to make sure I got the right fit. They do fit pretty true to size so that was good but what it meant is I had a second pair I needed to use the free Prime return on. This is where problems started. The price had dropped in the few days since I bought them and when trying to return, I was only going to be returned the current price of the boots, not what I originally paid for them. So I have two great pairs of boots, one that doesn't fit as well but they look great. They are very similar to several other pairs I have had in the past like ones from lapolice gear or purchased from the local store so I was surprised to see that Sketchers made a pair. Like my sketcher shoes, they are good if you need to stand for a time in one place. I love the side zipper too, it saves a lot of time with lacing them up. I wish that Amazon had been better about trying to return the pair that didn't fit as well because otherwise they seem to be a great set of boots.

Durable

Boots are very stiff and take time to break in but they are very durable,which may be why they are stiff to begin with?

They didn't cost $400. I'd buy again next year. I've bought 5 different pair. Need the drying time.

No excessive creases. Still looks real good after 10 months or so, but I consistently wear 4 pair for work. They must also look good or I don't wear them. I would buy again.

Tight fit

They seem to be a decent boot but they are almost impossible for me to put on even with the zipper all the way down and the laces loosened.

Very comfortable

I worn these boots a few times. I found them to be very comfortable. I bought 8 wide which gives me enough room if I wanna wear thick socks for the winter. The boots are tall and I normally wear a wide calf boots, so they are a little snug at the top. What I do to rectify this is I pulled the zipper almost up to the very top and then I close the Velcro strap which is at the top. That I found is to be the most comfortable. If I was to pull the zipper up to where it sits under the Velcro strap that is too tight for me. I saw a couple reviews saying they were unable to use the side zipper to slide their foot out. I didn’t find this so, Maybe because I bought the wide boot but I am able to slide my foot out with a little work

Comfortable!

Very comfortable foot wear. I am on my feet for most of my shift as a Security Officer in a hospital. The 8" boots ha e great ankle support an the side zippers make them easy to get on and off.

I can not believe the quality of these boots, great wide toe erea, high quality zipper high quality laces and the inner sole is very comfortable. What a great boot.

Good buy

Arrived correctly and on time in good shape. Fit as expected, good construction and comfortable to wear. The only thing my husband disliked about them is that they are less than proficient at venting or wicking moisture. Great buy for the price point tho.

Very comfortable boots!

The boots are excellent for the price. They are great for walking in deep snow & on ice. They are a bit hot when the weather is warm outside. Probably not a boot you’d want to wear in summer time.
