Flip top to fit the narrow opening bottles

It is not as easy to drink from as the similar flip top for the wide mouth bottles. The opening is just a bit too high, meaning that ice chunks can more easily start to come through the opening and interfere with the drinking process. This happens a lot if you use crushed ice, and takes a little bit to happen if you use whole ice cubes, but it always happens. Mostly it just means that you can't drink as much as the ice blocks the opening and the flow is not directly out towards your mouth. I haven't found a better one, so I am still happy with my purchase of this flip top. I use it on three different narrow mouth bottles from different manufacturers, and it fits leak free on all three.

Intuitively engineered lid. But lacking durability.

Great product design! Using a tri-lug locking system to secure the lid. Very intuitive design. However the adhesives that hold all the various parts, seem to not be as durable I would like it to be. However the lid overall is a great design and easy to use. It’s likely that production might of had a bad batch of adhesives during the current run of lid manufacturing of which I received mine, but it’s subject to change through time. Hopefully we can see improvements down the line, because simple modern products tend to be exceptional!

Convenient water bottle lid

I have been using this lid on my standard mouth Hydroflask and I love the functionality. It only takes a 1/4 turn to open or seal lid and the mouth is wide enough to drink quickly from. It is completely waterproof and I have never had it leak. I recently bought a second one since my original broke after about a year of heavy use (dropped more times than I can count). This is great water bottle lid, especially if you're sick of lids that take forever to unscrew.

More reasons to love Simple Modern

I have a collection of simple modern mugs and bottles. They are great, pretty, and just hold up. Now, I was gifted 2 years ago, a 21oz hydro flask. It was a good little bottle, but it was a pain trying to unscrew the lid when your moving. I decided to fix this and browse amazon a few days ago to see if I could find a chug style lid. Low and behold, I’m brought here. Simple modern. I’m very happy to say it fits, and is ready to hit the gym with me tomorrow!

Easy to order and easy to pair with a bottle but.. they aren't very sturdy. This is my 3rd one to purchase in the last 1.5 years. They can't take a beating like their steel bottles can!

Fits narrow mouth Hydroflask

Purchased this to use with my narrow mouth 21 oz Hydroflask and it fits perfectly with no leaks. There is a guide on the back of the package to show the length to cut the straw. Only issue was that the guide shows 20 and 24 oz, but not 21. I was cutting small amounts at a time and lost my patience and cut a big chunk and now it’s a little too short, but that was my own fault not the products fault. Comes with two straws so when I need to replace I know now to be patient cutting the second straw a little at a time until it fits.

The media could not be loaded. Leak proof, easy to drink because of the way the lid just slightly turns to come off instead of the usual way a lid comes off

Works great

Works great for the price. Fit our standard mouth hydro flask. A bit hard to open spout at first but it loosens up so that my son can get it open himself at school. Doesn’t leak which is a huge bonus! Not sure if it’s dishwasher safe but we’ve been chucking it in there and it’s been fine. Not sure about durability long term we’ve only had it a short while but the price was right. Colour option is fun too. Would recommend

Works perfectly that sounds like a banshee

It’s the perfect replacement fit. It doesn’t leak when closed. But when you pop open the drinking spout and start sucking in some water it sounds like a high-pitched blaster from Star Wars. It’s loud enough to turn heads, and trust me it turns heads. When I buy it again? Probably. But if the second one sounds like a futuristic weapon when you’re taking a sip of water, I’d probably look for another option.

Fits my Ascent bottle perfectly

I love this lid, I had read that some people had gotten it and it didn't fit their bottles, I had no issues with this. I had also seen complaints about it not being insulated and made of plastic. It is made of plastic but I believe it is to some extent insulated, I put ice in with my water the other day, and over 12 hours later, there was still some ice left in my bottle, just don't leave the lid open too long for no reason.

Works with Hydroflask

I confirm this works in my Hydroflask even though the threads on this top look slightly different than the cap that came with my bottle. The straws need to be cut to fit - the 20 oz measure was too big and 18 oz was too small but thankfully it comes with two straws in case your first guess is off like mine. It doesn’t really work without a straw - you can tip it upside down to get water out but it makes a terrible noise. If the price was closer to $10 I would give it 5 stars but it was a little more expensive than I’d hoped - still the most affordable I could find with good reviews. Would recommend.
