Great bra, awesome fabric, still trying to figure out Simone Perele fit

I love Simone Perele bras. I follow the size charts which turn my US 34C in to a 32E thus needing a smaller band size and not my sister size bra of 32D. I ordered 32D in black just to try it in this bra in and it did not fit at all well. The cup fit of this bra is way off from other SP bras. With this potentially awesome bra down to $23 in some sizes/colors, it's really frustrating, As much as I loved the silky fabric of the sides, the taupe-y mink color and 3 way straps, the cups are way off. The wires are very wide and leave little room to fill the actual cup. I had bubbled over spillage along the middle third of the cup. The top edge of this bra does not stretch to enclose the breast tissue or camouflage any difference in breast sizes. The outside wire was into my armpit. Something, perhaps the wide wire placement,made the sides push up and not encase underarm skin creating massive armpit bulge where I do not carry fat. I have broad shoulders and a wide rib cage and this bra in both sizes was too "wide" for me. I searched reviews and fit tips on many sites. Nordstrom fit said "Band fits loose. We recommend ordering one band size down and one cup size up (34C should order 32D)". The Lotion Touch microfiber fabric of this bra is AMAZING even by SP standards. 10 stars for fabric! So soft, silky. I like a little more padding vs the memory foam under Tshirts so no high beams. Also memory foam starts out looking good but seems to stretch with time even with rotating wear, hand washing, dry flat. I do not think this cup will stretch as much as my favorite SP bra:Simone Perele Women's Caressence 3D Plunge, Peau Rose, 32D Love that bra but straps are wide set and not as user-friendly with sleeveless summer clothes and the cups too thin so I had hopes that the Inspiration 3 way would work. It was hard to choose stars- I would have given 5 stars if it had fit. Given the fact I use the Simone Perele website for bra fit, then I wonder if the bra is off.

Smooth profile. Cups are wide and shallow.

I have ordered a lot of bras through Amazon and this is the first one to arrive crushed inside a plastic bag that had no tissue or bubble wrap to protect its molded cup shape. Despite that...when I opened the package, I reshaped the cups as best I could and let it sit for a few hours. So, long story short, it put the memory foam to the ultimate test: to see if it could come back to shape after being completely flattened. I am happy to say 'Yes, it did!' As for fit, Simone Perele bras are tricky to size properly. But I have learned a 32:6 is the equivalent to a 70F. Therefore, with Amazon's sizing options I ordered the 32F. Bottom line, the band runs true to size and the cups run just a tad small. But, at 6.25" wide and barely 8.25" deep, it's very shallow. I found the underwire being pushed down onto my ribs rather than sitting in the IMF, so not so good for needed projection. However, it did not allow spilling into the center when leaning over, such as is common with plunges. The fabric and construction of the band and cups are excellent and very comfortable. Some have complained the plastic clips on the straps have rough edges. This one didn't, but a simple nail file would smooth it down if it did. However, I did find that the straps may not adjust short enough in the standard position, once they stretch out. Also, the straps were just barely long enough to wear as a halter, since adjusting the length is only in the back. So clipping the two front sections together was painful across the back of my neck. But then I found when trying the straps crossed racerback style that they weren't long enough and was also very tight across my upper shoulders. If you are petite/short waisted you might not have either of these problems.

Annoying plastic hooks by armpit

What a lovely bra. The fabric is so smooth and it looks nice under tighter tops. I was really excited to get this bra, as it's one of my first in my actual size (30F) as opposed to the size I can find at the mall that I thought fit correctly (32C). The straps are wide and comfortable. I deducted one star because the convertible hook at the top of the cup hits my arm pit and it's a tad annoying. Shortening the strap helped it be less noticeable. I haven't had this bra for long so I can't write about its quality over time, but will update the review if there is a quality concern. This bra works well for me, and my breasts are wide-set and quite shallow. Will probably not work if you are full on top. I found the sizing to be consistent to the other (admittedly, few) bras I have in this size. Edited after two weeks: I've had this bra for a few weeks now and the plastic piece for the convertible hook that hits at my armpit has ended up chafing me all day. I've shortened and lengthened the straps, and let the bra stretch out a bit and nothing makes them less annoying. Ended up returning.

I've bought bra's from walmart that had better quality in it's construction

This bra runs small according to the reviews which I adjusted for in my order but my biggest beef with this bra is how uncomfortable it is. The material feels cheep and it's scratchy and stiff. I've bought bra's from walmart that had better quality in it's construction. I'm hoping it will improve with a few washings but we'll see what happens. I think I just bought a laundry day bra.

A very large band. I initially thought I they had sent the wrong size, but once I checked I realised that this was not the case, the band just runs large. A lovely bra though. I would recommend ordering down a band size and up a cup size - If you are 34DD then order a 32DDD.

Wanted it to work but sadly it didn’t

I’m an avid, dedicated Simone Perele fan. This one missed the mark. It came to me with a funny, musty smell, which was strike one for me. The cups ran a little big, gapping at the top. I wanted to like this bra so much as it was soft as heck, but it’s just a little awkward all around.

Inaccurate sizing

I purchased a 30F and it fit noticeably smaller than every Simone Perele 30E bra I have ever put on. I do not believe it is sized/labeled correctly.

Tight fit

The band is fairly tight and can be a little uncomfortable. However, the material feels wonderful and the cup placement is flattering (not too far apart). Good news is the underwire doesn't dig in even with the band on the tight side. It's a great quality bra that feels really durable though. Ordered 34D
