Works as intended

Comfortable and provides adequate protection. My 10 year old son and I were trying on our new ‘nut cups’ for martial arts class and he squared up and kicked me hard enough to nearly lift me off the ground. It hurt a bit, but without the cup I would probably be on the way to the hospital. I don’t recommend this testing modality btw.

Best cup for the price

This cup system has more than met my expectations. Please Shock Doctor, don’t stop making this product. For 45 bucks this cup and compression shorts system has withstood over a year of hard Jiujitsu sparring, and its still going strong. I will never buy another cup system for martial arts again. Its low profile, and combined with the compression shorts it does a good job of keeping my man bits secure and in place. This thing takes all the groin pain away when I’m rolling and things get a little too close for comfort sometimes, I definitely regret it on days I don’t wear it. A quality product for sure.

Comfy as underwear, GREAT CUP, terrible cup holder

I have to start by saying I'm a huge Shock Doctor fan. Most of my gear is SD. However, these were pretty meh. The shorts have the cup pocket sewn to the band and two little pieces of stretch sewn at the bottom tip to the center better your legs; that spot just before your taint. At first the cup is in an acceptable position. Once you get hot, the cup never stays in place an is constantly moving forward. On a side note, this seller is amazing. I ordered 3, 2 came opened and obviously returned (gross), they immediately apologized profusely, had me throw them away and sent me 2 new ones free next day. Great customer service!

High quality great fit!

My son is 12 super fit with flat muscular stomach, strong thighs...He can have trouble finding bottoms that fit. He is the catcher & fastest base runner. We have tried many styles & these fit perfect! He is 5”3 110lbs I think they are pricey but when they are the only ones that fit & made of super good quality... We only have to buy new when he grows out of them. they don’t fall apart. He plays on 3 teams so they get lots of washing!

I love these shorts

I love these shorts. I love that they have a built in jock strap to hold the cup in place. Many compression shorts don't have this feature and my boys sometimes get pinched between my thigh and the lip of the cup. I replaced the cup with a more expensive one that had better coverage but I love these shorts! I wish they sold just the shorts with the jock strap system though because I would own ten pairs. I have another shock doctor pair of shorts and they don't have this system. It sucks. As it stands I don't want to spend the extra money for cups and have ten cups I don't need lying around my house.

Finally a set that works!

Finally, a system where the cup remains in place during squats and kicks. If you are like me and have not been satisfied with the way other shorts/cups fit during physical activity, then give these a try. Note: The cup isn't sized to fit your junk, the cup is sized to fit the pocket in the shorts. You can't put a large cup in a small pocket. Conversely, if you put a small cup in shorts with a large pocket, it will move around. So the cup size depends on the shorts size, not your junk size.

Consistent, comfortable protection!

I've tried various cups and shorts for karate, and these are by far the most comfortable. The cup is soft but sturdy, and offers great protection for those unexpected blows (also machine washable). The shorts are fantastic, and feature Shock Doctor's Ultra Cup Retention System, which is by far the best I've seen for maintaining cup position. There is a flap at the top of the cup pocket for keeping the cup down (see photo) and straps at the base of the pocket which go under and connect to the back, keeping the pocket pulled back (see photo). The cup never strayed, even during squats, kicks, or sprints. If you want consistent, comfortable protection, this cup/short combo will do the trick.

les Short de compression son genial et la grandeur est comme convenue. la cup est desevante ce nai pas la meme que sur la pic et elle est vraiment petite comparer a dautre model de la meme marque je ne suis pas en securiter dedans Compression shorts are great and the size is as agreed. the cup is disappointing it is not the same as on the pic and it is really small compare to another model of the same brand I am not safe in it

stitching came apart after 1 month and completely fell apart.

stitching on the shorts completely came apart after 1 month. waist band seperated from the actual shorts. this is poor quality control as the product itself otherwise was good quality. just poorly stitched. disappointing as otherwise was by all means a good product.
