I am not a professional but I do enjoy applying makeup and am fairly good at it, his review is solely my opinion. Nice quality sponges although not as soft and sponge like compared to the beauty techniques orange beauty blender. (Which I would prefer) First photo is of the sponge after one use after being wet and squeezed of excess water. I found that the sponge absorbed more product when used wet than when used dry, however the sponge is firmer when being used dry and definitely feels like I am "beating" my face. Also the package was delivered to me bent in multiple spots but the product was not damaged. If you like a more firm less sponge like beauty blender then this is perfect. I have not yet tried the other sponges but I am looking forward to it.

******UPDATE********** I totally LOVE these sponges!!!! I bought a second set just because!!!! I am a makeup junkie and I have tried cheap sponges and I also have a beauty blender from Sephora. The thing is these are more dense than the beauty blender but they are still soft and I feel that it doesn't absorb as much product as the original and it is easier to use because it's not so squishy. I mainly use the pink one that is pointed at both ends for my whole face, the yellow pointy one for concealer around eyes and above eyebrows, and the little pink one to get around the hairline and contour my nose. Check me out on Instagram at Fitfattie901 and you will see I'm serious about my makeup!!!! ________________________________________ These are perfect!!! I have the original beauty blender and these are just as good!!!! To me they're better! Especially since they have so many different shapes. I love the two that have pointed tips because it helps keep product under eye and not on the side of the nose. I also love the one that's flat on both sides so that I can bake and set powder under the eyes. I wet them before use. They are all big to me because I have the mini blenders and hate them because they are so small and hard to handle when getting in tight spots but this set can get around hairline without getting makeup on the roots of my hair. I totally told all my friends about these, not only is this a good product but it's a great price!! I buy alot of my brushes from Ebay cause I can get better deals usually but I couldn't find these shapes anywhere else (I looked). I'm glad I decided to buy these! They were packed well also.

You can't go wrong with these!!
I'd been putting off buying any beauty blender sponges because they generally run pretty pricey, but I saw this set and I was wowed by the variety of shapes and the pretty colors. And the price was fantastic! I paid the same price for 10 sponges as they're charging for ONE of the other brands. Totally a bargain. Tho I have to admit, I wasn't sure what to expect because I wasn't familiar with SHANY and with the price being so affordable, I was a little worried this might be a "you get what you pay for" sort of thing, but man, was I pleasantly surprised! These sponges are great and they work beautifully. Even when they're dry they're a good size, tho smaller than what I thought they'd be. I don't really know what I was expecting to be honest. But when I wet the sponge to use it, it absorbed the water, doubled in size and like the other reviewer said - it did what a beauty blender is supposed to do. I love the variety of the shapes so you have options depending on what or where you want to use them. And the colors are so fun!! I'm definitely a customer for life. I strongly recommend and I will be telling all my other makeup junkie friends to buy these sponges!

I LOVE THIS!!! I always am looking for an affordable, but good beauty sponge. I usually find a good one a local stores but each one is about $10. It is not a lot compared to the more expensive ones but it still seems a lot for a little sponge. When I saw this product I was skeptical because it has no reviews and it is new, plus the price of these 10 beauty sponges is cheaper than one beauty sponge. But I decided to go for it anyways and let me tell you, it was SO worth it. They are smooth and a good size for being dry, when I wet one to test it out it absorbed the water and did what a beauty blender is supposed to do. Another bright side is that there is options, it is 10 different sponges meaning 10 different shapes. I use the small ones to blend in the concealer under my eyes and the bigger ones for my foundation. Honestly it is a great buy, for the price and the amount that you get, it is a steal. I will be ordering these beauty sponges as long as I can. It can not get cheaper and better than this. GO FOR IT!!

These cosmetic blending sponges are great! I have purchased similar products at retailers before and had been dissatisfied with their performance and how well they clean up and sanitize. My famously known blender is nice, but of course the cost of the single item adds up when you are a heavy and daily cosmetic applyer. The Shany sponges greatly increase in size after getting completely wet, and all of the water squeezes out completely and easily. The sponges obviously have pores to them, however they are very fine in size....So your products are not wasted by soaking up in the sponges instead of flawlessly applied to your face. These sponges do not have any funny smell, and almost all of them have a flat surface for the flat areas of your face and pointed end for around the nose/inside corners of eyes. I did (reluctantly) but lovingly gave three of the sponges to my 18 year old daughter. She did tell me that she had really liked using the sponges well! Overall, this Shany sponges kit is terrific kit and to compare the product and price to the famous blender...This one is a winner!
