Sturdy and pretty!

Very happy with this purchase. Solid, easy to put together, comfortable, and they look really nice. Definitely do not look cheap at all. I bought 4 for my kitchen island and they're honestly perfect. I was looking at a lot of stools much more expensive than these and am really glad I went with this option.

Style & Function

Super nice high barstools. Sturdy and stylish. Relatively easy to put together made of quality materials. Faux leather seats and dark wood looks nice in any setting. I'd buy again for sure if needed.

Pain to assemble

These are surprisingly difficult to put together. For being a simple stool, they've been kind of a pain to get done. I bought 2, and was expecting an under 5 minute assembly. I'm still working on the first and it's been 20 minutes because I had to take it apart twice. Maybe I'm just dense, but I'm finding it to be more confusing than need be. Maybe labeling the pieces or sending a few already put together would be nice. Even if they sent the bottom cross bars assembled, the package wouldn't be much bigger and would cut the confusion in half. Can't complain too much for the price, just didn't expect it. I've assembled many pieces of flat pack furniture and thought this would be much easy in comparison.

Hard to assemble

These stools look really nice & are fairly comfortable. BUT the assembly was horrible. I’ve put together a lot of items but this was the worst. They come with large screws and an Allen wrench. Why they didn’t use screws you could use a screwdriver with, is beyond me. The wrench kept slipping off the screw head and the holes were not drilled deep enough. After struggling to get the screws in, I found a driver that took the same head and that helped a little. I finally had to get out the drill & drill the holes deeper. That solved the problem. Unfortunately from trying to get these screws in & the wrench slipping, I ended up with one screw head damaged to the point I couldn’t tighten it or take it out. Because of that, the cross bar couldn’t be tightened on that side, so I used glue to keep it together. I couldn’t insert the little wood button in that hole because the screw wasn’t in far enough, but it faces the wall so no one will notice it. If you purchase these, I would drill the holes before putting it together. I just hope the glue holds on mine.

Assembly issues

Received these stools promptly. Read the reviews regarding assembly and decided to follow customer instructions rather than the written instructions. Excellent suggestion given to assemble the base first, just don’t screw anything in very tight so you can insert the cross pieces. I was not able to screw everything together completely, needed muscle assistance. They do smell horrendous upon opening the package so I would suggest assembling outside. Mine are sitting outside airing out overnight.

Impressive stool for the price

I was very surprised at the quality and construction of this stool. I am 250 lb. plus and this stool is rock solid when I sit on it. Also, the finish on the wood and quality of the seat were better than expected.

Look great.

Really good price for this sturdy stool. Leather looking material on seat is stitched well. Went together okay..as these things go. Put felt tabs on legs make them easy to move around and keep the noise down.

sturdy and nice looking

This fits perfectly into my studio at my counter. It was pretty simple to essemble although, look at the holes locations on the legs and follow that on the diagram...yes, i put them on wrong the first time. I used my own allen key set as the one provided wasn't as easy to use. it would work but would have taken longer to assemble. Once assembled, it's quite comfy and sturdy. The faux leather looks pretty genuine as well.

Nice Looking Padded Stool and Very Sturdy

It's everything you want in a padded stool at this price. Looks good, very sturdy. I liked the fresh smell of the walnut wood and the stained & lacquered finish. Didn't bother reading the instructions, it was pretty obvious how to put it together. Everything was packed tightly together in the box with enough protection to prevent shipping damage. Easily, FIVE STARS out of five.

This stool is very comfortable

Husband broke his hip and can't sit comfortably anywhere. Purchased this bar stool for him as he is tall and the walker can slip in behind him for arm rests. It has enabled him to join family dinners and visit in living room with visitors. Life changer for the interm. The screws do come loose so I keep the Allen wrench provided close at hand.

Great value, nice stools

Super easy to assemble! They are very nice looking and look as if they are more expensive than they really are. I am really happy with the quality, the price and the easy assembly. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for stools for their home.
