Neat set, takes up too much space

This is a cool set in that it sends cars up a vertical track to either make an 8 or make a jump on the way down. Like most Hot Wheel stunt sets, the success of the car really depends on the size and weight of the car. Also, the launcher is a push launcher, so you need to give it enough propulsion to get it going. I understand push launchers are cheaper, but I do wish they included more electric launchers in their sets. My main complaint is with the claim that it "folds for convenient storage." Yes, it does fold, but not enough to make a significant difference in storage. It takes up too much space for what it is, and it's a pain to take apart. There is no easy storage option for this.

My Toddler loves this, but..

This toy is a huge hit with my four year old. However, she doesnt always have enough strength to put it through the whole track. It makes it hard for her to enjoy it when the car gets stuck in various places. Still a great toy just wish they made launchers more compatible for toddlers.

Hours of fun

Keeps my 7 year old entertained! Some kids could probably set it up, but my 7 year old needed assistance from her older brother (14). Once assembled it stays together - no prices coming apart. It’s very durable and sturdy.

Takes up space

I have put together many hot wheels sets. Even though there are no stickers involved, I feel it was more time consuming and tedious than the other sets I have done. There are a lots of parts with the same color and some of the codes were not that easy to see. I feel the set is more for older kids since there's a part with no track. You need to hit the release hard for the car to fly through. It is foldable but I feel it still takes up a lot of space.

Fun Hot Wheels Track Set

We've got a number of Hot Wheels Track sets. Everything from your standalone loop-de-loop sets, to HW Builder sets, to Hot Wheels City sets. Some work, and, well, some not so much. So how about this set? Pretty good in my opinion. - Fun factor. Two loop tracks with a jump in the middle and at the end. Yes, it's still your basic figure eight loop set, but the is more variety than a single loop and, really, loop sets are fun. - Build. Instructions are modular stealing a nice feature from Lego sets. Also, no stickers making this very easy to build. - Ease of use. Easily overlooked aspect to HW sets in my opinion, but how easy is it to perform the trick? Some sets require just the right amount of pressure to get the jump or trick executed. Too much and the car goes flying off the track, too little and no trick. This set requires a lot less finesse than other sets making it more accessible and useable by a bigger age range which is great. - Packability. Not a lot of fun to have massive track layouts lying around that require full teardown for any kind of storage. This is at least foldable to reduce size when not in use. Better than nothing. - Compatibility. Not part of the Builder line so not marketed as modular to have other sets tacked on to it but its HW track so anything can be done with it with a little effort and creativity. In summary, a better than average loop set that is much easier than average to get the trick done, is easy to build, and has a little storability built in. All adds up to a much better than average set in my opinion.

Great gift

Great size set! A lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. Come with 1 car. Easy to set up and nice quality. Great gift for young kid.

Action toy!

The media could not be loaded. So the set is pretty simple to set up, took about 10-15 minutes to assemble. All of the pieces are labeled with letters/numbers, so no guess work on what parts connect to what. I put it together and gave it a test run before it will be gifted to my son. He is a big Hot Wheels fan, so I'm sure he will enjoy it. It does take a pretty decent smack to get it around the loop, but don't see that being an issue with my boy. There is a lever that switches it between the two different tracks. And once it's assembled, it's not as easy to break down, so you'll want to have a space where it can always be up. All in all, looks like more Hot Wheels fun will be had at the house.

Car racing

This makes a great gift for kids that are young and love cars. Hot wheels is what I grew up with and pretending to be a racecar driver and seeing it zoom across a track, makes you want to drive like that except you can't drive a real car up through a loop. This is a great starter set to be able to see a car on a track.

Not a fan

I'm not sure what I was expecting with this toy but I'm disappointed with it. It takes an incredible BANG to get the cars out and around the track. My 5yo son couldn't BANG it hard enough and it became more frustrating then fun.

Jeu complet mais évolutif

L'ensemble est vendu démonté, prévoir une petite demi heure pour le montage maximum. Attention, c'est un circuit qui prends de la place, et qui ne se démonte pas completement une fois monté. Il faut donc prévoir de la place pour le rangement / stockage. une fois monté, la voiture se lance, enchaine les loopings, et se stocke dans la boite à la fin de la piste. Très prenant pour les plus petits. Le kit est fourni avec une voiture, mais d'autres peuvent être achetée en supplément. Le gros avantage également de HotWheel, c'est qu'on peut jouer immédiatement sur ce circuit, mais on peut également le compléter plus tard avec d'autres pistes. Très bon ensemble, très facile d'utilisation pour les plus petits.

Une bonne idée cadeau

Jouet de bonne taille qui a conquis à l'unanimité les plus jeunes. Pour ma part, j'aurais aimé que des autocollants soient fournis afin de pouvoir faire de la customisation. Mis à part ce détail, je n'ai rien à redire si ce n'est que c'est une bonne idée cadeau.

Circuit vertigineux

C’est le 1er circuit Hotwheels que j’ai l’occasion d’offrir à mon fils de 6 ans et il en est vraiment ravi ! Ce circuit à construire est composé de 2 pistes en virages et il y a même comme un tremplin à la fin. Les explications de montage sont claires et nous n’avons pas eu de difficulté particulière pour le faire. La voiture va très vite, il y a un système d’aiguillage pour faire aller la voiture dans la boucle choisie. Mon fils n’a pas encore réussi à la faire atterrir correctement après le grand saut, mais il persiste ! J’ai été très surprise, c’est assez vertigineux et mon fils adore ! Même s’il est pliable en partie, le circuit est très grand et prend de la place au sol, il faut donc prévoir un emplacement adapté car ce serait dommage de devoir le démonter à chaque fois Heureusement mes enfants ont un espace de jeu où ils peuvent laisser leurs jouets, pour le plus grand plaisir de mon fils qui peut ainsi passer du temps avec son nouveau circuit
