Good quality pieces, less durable as a whole

Wanted to love this product. The overall look and quality of each piece is good, but once you stack them together, it’s less than ideal. It becomes wobbly and because it’s ceramic, slipperier. The lid is also not airtight and has no silicone or rubber edging, so wood combined with ceramic means, slippery lid as well. Good concept, not so good execution.

A very handy choice when cooking. Wish it was a little more airtight. The high humidity makes it's way inside.

A bit unstable

And by a bit I mean don't dare touch them accidentally or you're going to have several hundred very heavy ceramic shards exploding everywhere, or possibly several hundred toe bone shards exploding in your foot. I don't believe that these would really be appropriate for spice storage because they're not airtight, that's obvious just by the amount of wiggling they do. Anything put in there would be a victim of humidity or bugs or whatever else you have creeping around your kitchen. Mine got assigned to vanity storage. Cotton balls and bobby pins, yes. Food stuffs NO. They are very pretty though.

Sugar storage

These little ceramic storage bowls are a beautiful color with a smooth finish. The lid appears to be bamboo or another nice looking wood. There is no rubber seal or anything, it just sits on top. The bowls are technically "stackable" but they are not stable. I almost broke one right out of the box. I do not feel comfortable keeping them stacked because if one falls it would most likely shatter. I decided to use mine side by side, as a sugar bowl and spoon rest next to my coffee. So far, the sugar does get a little stiff but easily breaks up. I hope the lid will keep ants/fruit flies out once the weather heats up. Overall, they look great and are functional although for the listing price I expected they'd stack and have a nice seal in the lid.

Great for Kosher Salt

Works great for storing kosher salt, providing quick access while I'm in the middle of cooking. I'm not sure what to do with the second bowl. They are not idea for spices as they aren't air tight. Maybe I'll add sugar?

terrible lids that easily slide off, which is a major drop risk .

The lids need to be recessed further into the cup.. instead it is only 1/8" deep cut so it slides off very easily.. this poses a danger when gripping the item with your thumb on the edge of the lid.. it will just flip over and you may end up dropping the whole thing onto the ground and creating a giant mess like I did!

So attractive and versatile

I use this to hold my small desktop items. I love the feel and fit of the wood lid. The gray glaze is nice, a bit darker in person than as pictured. Very contemporary and simple. Would work well in any room.
