Much needed space
This allowed much needed space to put plates and utensils while cooking. I love that it also acts as a grill cover when not in use. Highly recommend.

Really like but hate the fact it's hard to get and price markup on amazon
For some reason these shelves are out everywhere... a matter of fact a lot of camp chef stuff is. I have the impression that they bulk produce in china then sell out what they make for the year before making the next batch. Anyways, bought my stove recently from costco and after my first cook, I could tell I needed these shelves. Got lucky and found under the used warehouse deals. The only issue was the original box was gone so it was repackaged. Don't care about the box but amazon did little to protect the product in shipping. The "ears" that you used to mount to the stove were bent and sticking out of the box. The paint was chipped but the paint is going to wear, they should have powder-coated it... if it was power coated then mine was chipping of and didn't think power coating does that. Also, no instructions but it was easy to figure out and the metal extensions that clip to the grill when closed were also bent. So 4 stars on the product and 1 star on amazon packing of the product. The product did not appear as used just missing the camp chef box. For what it is, a bit overpriced... these shelves were about 1/3 of the cost of the grill which makes no sense.

FITS CAMP CHEF TUNDRA 3X PERFECTLY
I bought the Camp Chef Tundra 3X three burner stove at Costco and wanted to add these shelves. The Amazon description does not include the Tundra 3X as one of the compatible stoves, but it is a perfect fit. I like the shelves, but they are not exactly what I expected. First of all, they are metal, not hard plastic like on my Webber BBQ. I'm fine with that. They are very sturdy and should be very easy to clean, but it does add more weight to the stove. Also, the shelves fold over the stove and act like a cover when the stove is not in use. I like this feature, but mine would not lay perfectly flat on the stove. There is a slot cut into the hinge side of the shelf which is supposed to allow room for the lip of the stove thereby allowing the shelf to lay flat, but the slot wasn't quite wide enough on my new shelves. Because the shelves were metal, I just used a pair of dikes to cut the metal making the slot about 1/4 inch wider. Now the shelves lay flat on the top of the stove when stowed. Its an easy fix with dikes or tin snips, but I feel I really shouldn't have to do it. Lastly, the hardware included for mounting the shelves to the stove is about 1/8" wider than needed, which makes the shelves feel a little loose when deploying or stowing them. I wish it was just a little tighter with less slop in it. All in all, it is a great shelf set and at a great price. Knowing all that I know now, I would still buy it. I'm looking forward to our next camping trip.

Worth the Money, but Temper Expectations for How Much Weight They Will hold
I got these shelves primarily to have a place to set my my cooking utensils while using my Camp Chef Stove. For that purpose, they are adequate. The shelves assemble easily and should last as long, if not longer, than the stove itself. Having said that, these shelves, while made of sturdy metal, cannot hold much weight without bending. The specs or item description may list exactly how many pounds they can hold, but after having assembled them to my stove, I would not set anything that weighs more than a six pack of canned soda, and that might be pushing it. In reality, these "shelves" are really more like grill covers as they fold inward to cover the burner area. As covers, they are excellent and will provide excellent protection. Aside from not being able to hold much weight, the only other drawback to these shelves is the color. My 3-burner stove is silver/stainless and black with red knobs. While the red shelves are not terrible, I would have preferred to have black and stainless options. I'll probably paint mine black at the end of the summer. This is a very small nit pick, but if the Camp Chef people actually read these reviews, maybe they will offer them in the future.

Introduces lots of hassles, and overpriced, but still decent
First of all, there are actually assembly instructions included. For me, they were jammed in the middle of the product catalog that was included in the box. The jist of the assembly instructions is this: The small screws go on the outside, the larger nuts go on the inside. This will affect the fit of accessories if done the opposite (large nuts on the outside), so be sure to do it the correct way. For reference I have the Camp Chef Expedition 3X. Although the shelves offer convenience for cooking, they are not without a "hassle list", as I like to refer to these issues with various products: 1. If you have the accessory set that includes the paper towel holder and utensil hanger, you won't be able to hang them on the left and right stove handles. They will need to either hang on the shelves themselves (my preference), or on the front of the stove. Regardless of where you choose to place the hangers, when you close the shelves to cover the stove, you will have to move them. You can't close the shelves when they are hanging on the front of the stove, and you obviously can't leave them hanging on the shelves when you try to close them. 2. If you have the grease cup, it will have to be removed before you can close the shelves as the left one will not close with it on. 3. Obviously, any accessory that sits on the stove has to be removed before closing the shelves. Griddle, grill box, etc. 4. If you have the stove cover (recommended), the shelves have to be closed to use it. 5. I have not seen this mentioned for the 3-burner stove, but there are many complaints for the 2-burner version that the windscreen doesn't fit properly with the shelves installed. That is the case with this 3-burner one was well. The screws for the shelves are in the way. The windscreen can flex just enough to be placed OVER the screws--which produces a large gap that will then let the breeze in--or you can trim slots into the windscreen to allow the screws to slide in, allowing it to fit flush against the stove as intended. This is an annoying oversight by Camp Chef. Ideally the windscreen should have slots for the screws to slide in. 6. The windscreen has to be removed before the shelves can be closed. There are probably other hassles that I haven't come across yet, but these are the ones I uncovered just by installing the shelves and setting everything up. All this boils down to the following: When you want to use your Camp Chef and you have these shelves installed, there is some significant set up time involved. Likewise, when you're done cooking, there's significant tear down that needs to be done. You can't just fire up the stove and start cooking. A likely setup process for me: 1. Take off the cover. 2. Open the shelves. 3. Hang the accessory holders. 4. Remove the grate to get the grease cup stored under it. 5. Replace the grate. 6. Install the windscreen. 7. Hang the grease cup. 8. Put the griddle on. 9. Fire up the stove. The jury's out for me on whether this is too much of a hassle or not, since I haven't actually used the shelves during a cooking session yet. Additionally, although fairly heavy duty, this seems way overpriced for two bent pieces of painted metal and two sets of screws with Allen wrenches. But if you want shelves for your 3-burner Camp Chef, this is your only option.

Necessary accessory to any camp chef stove
Package got delivered at a reasonable time, product was in its original box which was beat up by the time it got to my place ( maybe double boxing it might be a good idea) . Installation was easy, it even came with the tool needed. Very heavy and durable, really useful as it add space for prepping and double as protection when storing the stove away when not in use. An indispensable accessory to my Denali pro. Happy with the purchase.

Works great.
As noted in other reviews, it can't handle a great deal of weight. But it is very handy to have the extra space. It was very easy to install. Instructions are in the catalog in the box. But honestly, if you need the instructions, you shouldn't be cooking with fire...

Fits great on my stove I bought at Costco
Fits great on my stove I bought at Costco, adds that extra rooms for putting the meat down before going on the grill, or even just a place to put utensils as you cook. Fantastic addition to a fantastic stove! PROS - Easy to install - Sturdy, holds the steaks! - Nice finish CONS - Price (but it's still worth it)

Fits well for storage. Sturdy. Well made
It was very easy to install. Take the Grate off before you install the screws to hold them in. The shelves fold inside the Burner on Top of the Grill so it stores in the Carry Bag very well. Really adds nicely to the Grill

Very useful and happy with purchase
Great for putting utensils or cooking supplies on these. Nicely made. Not designed for heavy items (ie: heavy pots, etc). Good for a few pounds of weight per side. Folds up nicely. We used the stove last summer without these shelves and have concluded that these are a very good investment if doing a lot of camping.
