Fine, but not very convenient

I purchased these with the intent to use them as training tools for myself and for the private keeper training I do every week. I thought that purchasing poles with spikes at the bottom would be limiting -- that I could only use them on grass fields and wouldn't be able to train on turf or indoors. The inconvenience of the base anchors is making me second guess my decision... I originally filled the bases with water, but that leaked everywhere in my car after a practice that I loaded up quickly. I haven't tried filling them with sand yet, but I anticipate that that will be better. If I ever end up using them for a training... Normally I just borrow the local club's poles with spikes. I also don't like how awkward and bulky it is to store everything. Poles with spikes would be much easier to store and pack around. That's another big reason I have hardly used mine -- they are just too hard to tote from my house to the field and back again. Next time I make a purchase in this area of training gear, I am going to get the poles with spikes.

Great...at first

The product worked great for the first day but then issues started showing. The bottom dome is great at holding the sticks and it does the job well. However some got cracked due to falling. When I tried filling the bottom with water, it immediately started leaking. I believe this is meant for grass/sand and not for indoors. The clips was great at holding but it can't be twisted to another position. In the photo above you can clearly see the clip being twisted horizontal and holding the pole. I tried many attempts to twist it but no luck. Finally the hurdles come in 2 pieces where you can connect 2 pieces together to form a longer pole. The problem is that the black connector can easily get pushed inside the pole and it becomes impossible to pull out. Nearly half of the sticks I can't connect due to the black connector getting stuck. Overall it is a good product but could be better.

Great for a PT practice or personal training

Bought these for a PT practice I manage..its probably the most used piece of equipment we have to work on balance, strength, and coordination for adults and kids alike. Over. Around. Under. Through. We have lots of fun with them too!

Awesome agility set for adults and kids!

I bought 2 sets of these to build an outdoor obstacle course for our elementary school end of the year celebration. They arrived in perfect condition and were easy to assemble. They definitely will need sand or water in the bases to keep them from tipping over. I have not used them for the children's party yet, however, have used them for indoor agility training for adults. They are fun to weave in and out of as well jump or step over. I highly recommend this product.

Good Quality Product

I am a tennis instructor who spends most of the time on court teaching kids, and I purchased the hurdles set in order to improve their agility and jumping skill. My students love the challenge, and these hurdles are adjustable and solid. Thank you!

My 2 Cents

Quick delivery. These hurdles are perfect for the work outs we do. For the price, these are great. I had my doubts but this pandemic made it necessary to get these. I’m glad I did. I don’t understand the negative comments ????????‍♂️

Tricky but works.

It took brute strength and ingenuity to twist the connector swivels so the cross bar would mount correctly. None of the connector swivels would budge accept one that kind of did. I was like ahah the swivels are just stuck together. I got a butter knife and worked it between the two swivels and voila I was able to turn the pieces so it would set up like the picture.

Good value

These work really well. The water does leak out though so have to refill every couple of days. My track students really enjoyed using these. Easy to set up and take down. Really light weight so if any wind around will need to fill the bases with water or sand to help them stay standing.

Nice hurdles

Clip's don't rotate

The clips that it comes with do not rotate, so there is no way to setting up the hurdles. I tried to twist it was hard as I could, wouldn't budge. I tried spraying WD40 to see if I could get it to rotate, but it still wouldn't rotate. Update: After letting it sit after being sprayed with WD40 for a few days, I soaked it in a bucket of hot water. Then with paper towel I was wiping them down and figured I'd give it one last go at rotating the clips. I did it with the intent to break them, and with the added grip of a wet paper towel on both ends I was finally able to get the clips to rotate. Increasing my rating from 1 star to 2 stars. I still feel it should come at a state where the clips are easily able to rotate.

Check what you order

I’ve brought hurdles before from a different company that was made from good quality an these hurdles was cheaper guality and the brackets to hold the hurdles horizontally and vertically was wrong for these hurdles the bracket did not twist so you could attached one horizontally and you twist the other end of the bracket to attach the vertical pole I quests the company that made the hurdles are the blame for that
