Kids are obsessed!

My 5 and 7 year old got these as a gift, and have been obsessed with them. I love that the cards are big and easy to read and that they’re practicing number identification and patterns while having fun.

This is three decks of cards misleading and not playable as anything else

This is only three sets and they try and say it counts as six or more because theoretically you could do other stuff but you really can’t. The cards are just the same matches over and over so you can’t really play the games correctly. Really disappointed honestly

She loves it

I bought this cards up for my granddaughter who was turning three. The games are easy for her to understand and the rules easy for her to follow and they are durable so they can be used by small children easily. I recommend these

Fun card games for beginners

Bought these for my 4 year old grandson, we have only played old maid so far and didn’t use the whole deck as too many cards for his little hands to hold. But he got the idea of the game and had a good time. Will introduce go fish next time. The only negative is the individual boxes that cards are in are very flimsy and I know will not last long which for Melissa & Doug product I was surprised, that is why a 4 star given not 5

Was playing wrong all my life

Mannnn, I’m soooo made to get this game, read the instructions just to realize my older siblings played me when we were kids, no wonder I never won. Other than that my kids love, son can’t stop cheating but it’s all fun and games. The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is because there too big for my sons hands and he’s 5. He told me his hands were hurting trying to hold all 7

Card games are wonderful for young children!

Interesting pictures, good size and thickness of cards. All the advantages of playing cards with children: wait, take turns, pay attention to visual detail, follow the rules, learn to lose without feeling like a loser; learn to win gracefully. I would have preferred for the cards to have more vivid colors and bold lines in the drawings, with simpler drawings, more realistic and less cartoon-like. For example, I like to teach occupations with the Old Maid cards, but young children have trouble seeing the occupation of the "singer" dressed in a bubbly fuzz of clothes that obscures the significance of the microphone. And the animals in Rummy, for example the tiger, are also more cartoon like. In today's world, where the line is so blurred between reality and make-believe, iI prefer to give young children a lot experiences with "reality-based learning". Of the card games available today, these are the best I've found, and I would buy them again, and I do recommend them to parents.

Jumbo size hard for kids

These 3 cars games are cute and good quality. The only complaint I have is the cards being jumbo make it Not only Difficult for small hands to manage but also for us adults they are rather difficult to shuffle. These are eve more jumbo than other large Kids decks we own. The graphics are so busy it’s confusing at first glance. We got 3 Farmers in old maid and took us a few games to realize the problem lol.

My son loves this

We have been playing go fish non stop since I ordered this for my son(3). He super loves it. He doesn'love old maid or the animal runny as much but they are slightly more complicated I am sure in another 6m to a year and he will be more interested in them as well. But for now it sure is nice to have a fun easy game to play together. The pictures are great as well

big cards for small hands

We love the illustrations, and these are a nice thickness, but I question the decision to make extra-large cards for extra-small hands. A Go Fish fistful is hard to handle for my little one who does fairly well with regular-sized Uno cards, and those hands can get just as large.
