First, let me start by saying that I have never been a fan of Craftsman tools. They began going down hill in the early 90s. As of right now, I’m not sure just how much further down the hill they can fall. However, when it comes to this old school clear handle screw driver design, I have always loved these. Ordered this set just to see if they would hold up as well as the originals. Well, it’s been over a year now, and I have had no issues what so ever. No, I would never try to use these on stubborn rusty screws or screws that were put in with high power drivers. I would then just pull out an impact screwdriver set. But for the everyday type needs?, yes, I would definitely suggest buying this set. This would also be a great set as a gift for somebody just starting a tool collection, or somebody that needs a basic tool kit. Maybe your child just bought there first house. This would be the type of screwdriver set to gift them. A dependable nice size set that should last them for years. I don’t believe the grade of plastic used on these handles are as strong as the originals, but as long as you aren’t angrily throwing them down on a concrete floor, you shouldn’t have any issues with them cracking or busting. And no, I realize these aren’t (Snap-On), but they aren’t priced as much as the Snap-On brand either. So I definitely think they are worth what they are charging. I don’t believe you need Matco or Mac tools for the average person. Brand names like that would just be an overkill for most people. A 5 dollar screwdriver hardly ever used, will last as long as a 100 dollar screwdriver. If you’re not an electrician, you probably won’t need a (Klein) screwdriver set. There is a time and place. This Craftsman set here is for the average person, or somebody that just needs a basic tool set up. I liked trying these new versions of an old school classic for the sake of reviewing them. I think, for the price they are charging for this set and what you are getting, 4 stars is a fair rating. I hope this review helps some of you trying to figure out if this is a good fitting set for your needs.

Packaging may kill you!
The tools are awesome and what you would expect from Craftsman; the shrink wrap plastic packaging was the worst - very thick, difficult to cut and open, and was sharp and dangerous once it was cut open. It took four stitches to close the cut I sustained on my right hand in the process of getting the tools out of the packaging. What I think of the packaging would necessitate a lot of profanity.

I bought these to replace a similar Craftsman set I bought many years ago. Over time, they get loaned out and not returned! They're high quality and it's a great assortment.

Nice set.
I liked the fact they sent different size one but the only problem I had was the blade sizes were all to thin or small. Craftsman has so many types out it’s hard to get just what you want. Just like there tool sets they send you a bunch of bits that you will never use because you already have about 30 of them laying around the house. When I buy tools I want tools not 30 bits that they count each one as a tool. I miss sears.

Good tools
Nice to see the Craftsman name lives on beyond the demise of its original owner, Sears, because they were alway good and dependable tools as far back as I can remember. I ordered these because screwdrivers keep disappearing from my garage tool box, like they grow legs. They arrived without delay, in good condition and fortunately still retain the high quality I have come to expect. I'm sure those who "borrow" my tools will be equally impressed.
