Handled many falls

Fallen many times while wearing these and they do a good job protecting your skin! Careful of the open sides on the knee protectors. The straps do become a little uncomfortable when you’re sweaty.

I ordered Black and Sunset for my husband and myself. I've got exactly 8" circumference and ordered M for both of us, everything fits perfectly for my husband. However, the hand pieces are a little too big for me at the top, since the straps are very stretchable, so they don't fit perfectly tight but don't slip either - anyway, my hands swell when I exercise which makes it perfect again. The white plates get dirty faster than the black ones and usage is also more visible - but Sunset is a fun color and I like to believe it makes me more visible for other traffic participants.

Knee Pad Velcro/Elastic Straps Length = NAH

•Updated Review 2/20/2023: I ended up keeping both sets of gear. Why? Because I missed the return window. However, it is admittedly nice to have spares floating around to grab and go. But listen gang, the wrist guards in the larger size are way too huge, so my original purchase size would’ve been perfect, except for the blasted knee pads. The amount of give on the Velcro straps is insanely unforgiving. I’ll be the first to happily admit that in general, I am not a complete skeleton, folks… but look, my legs? They are NOT particularly stocky. They’re not beautifully thicc, but I appreciate them. Regardless of where I’ve been on my journey, my legs have remained more toned than any other attribute. Bottom line: The sizing is totes flawed, y’all. Yes, I can wear both sizes I ended up with—but it drives me batty choosing to either a) only “half Velcro” my knee pads, or b) wrap ‘em as tight as all get out so they look as they should. Bahh. It is unnecessarily unflattering. The elbow pads and wrist guards are size-accurate. Unfortunately I must conclude that the strap sizing for the knee pads really destroys the vibe. At the same time, they’re critical to wear for protection when skating. Do as you feel, be safe and follow your heart. If you were blessed with some fiery thicc features (what’s up, bb!), another set of knee pads might make you happiest—regardless you’re all beautiful. Safety is beautiful. Now go skate, rockstars! As a side, these do protect. I had an embarrassingly HARD fall, landing on one of my elbows. The elbow guard took the brunt of my fall-momentum…but something odd happened: the elbow pad and cap shifted when I hit the floor, so the plastic cap ridge slammed into my arm above my elbow. I was left with a WICKED painful bruise from the plastic pad cap lip slamming terribly hard into my arm. Perhaps I didn’t have them secured tight enough? Regardless, had I not been wearing my guards and gear…I’m fairly certain my elbow would’ve been absolutely SHATTERED. Wicked bruises heal much faster than broken bones, mah’pals. •Original Review 8/13/2022: These are definitely visually pleasing, but the sizing is, as many reviewers have said: kinda confusing. I ordered this set in the M size. After going through the set description, Medium size seemed like a safe bet. I’m 5’9, 142lbs. The wrist and elbow guards fit me just fine—HOWEVER the knee pads are WAY less forgiving. The knee pad straps are surprisingly short, meaning they cut into my legs quite sharply. This made me so sad. Luckily, Amazon has your back! I’m currently in the process of exchanging the original set(Medium) I purchased for the next size up (Large)so that I can wear the knee pads without cutting off all circulation to my legs. Until then, I’ll just be at home, timidly roller skating and patiently waiting for the exchange set to arrive. I’ll update my review once the exchange is complete and I can actually try these lovelies! Rating as 4/5 stars due to the sizing inconsistency/confusion.

Perfect for small to medium adult woman.

First the colors and quality of these pads are quite nice. I'm 50 and using them for roller skating safety. They are comfortable and easy to put on. The wrist pads feel extremely sturdy and safe to me. Sizing: I can see why so many reviews comment on the knee pads. They do run small. The sizing is a bit confusing because you are supposed to order based on your palm size only. This will determine the ideal wrist guard size. The knee pads are apparently the same size for everyone, regardless of what size you order. For reference, I'm 5'3" 135 pound woman. My palm size is 7". I followed the chart and it suggested I order small, so I did. Everything fit me just fine. I am especially happy with the fit of the wrist pads and elbow pads. I will say that the knee pads definitely run small. If you are woman who wears a small or medium ( approximately size 2-10) pant...then these are likely going to be just fine for you. But for the rest of the world, maybe not. They really need to make longer straps for the knee pads. Even for me (who wears a size 4-6) I was only able to secure the knee straps about half way over the velcro base at the front of the knee. See photo with red arrows where I have them secured. This is tight enough without being too tight. I mean, I could get them tighter as the straps are quite stretchy. But this was a comfortable/secure fit at the halfway point. Its perfectly fine for my smallish legs (I'm wearing a size 6 Lulu legging in this photo). But I can imagine how others might have issues securing the knee pads if they have healthier sized legs. Overall, I think these are a very quality and affordable set of pads, best for medium sized adult females or smaller.

Cute AND protective! Get them!

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love this set. Stunning colors and doesn’t look dorky at all. Super comfy and protective!!! If you kneel on the knee pads you can feel how cushiony they are if you were to fall. Don’t hesitate, just get them!

durable and comfy!!

I LOVE THIS SET! they are my first pair of protective gear and they are ridiculously comfortable, I find the elastics are stretchy enough for movement but not too stretchy where you fear they may stretch out over time. I bought this set for the wrist guards as they come in smaller sizes than the knee and elbow pads which is super important for me since I have relatively smaller hands and wrists compared to the rest of my body. The wrist guards and incredibly sturdy and you feel well protected during falls unlike some of the other styles ive tried from friends. The knee pads are so cushy!! Falling onto your knees in them feel like falling onto pillows, and as you can see i have gotten some good use out of it! of course because the colour is white the scratches are more likely to appear on them so be conscious of that before settling on a colour scheme! For size reference I am 5'5 and 140lbs. My wrists are small enough to wrap your fingers around them and have them touch, I purchased a size small and everything fits like a glove
