Cute outfits

My 9 year old daughter tried the "Gold, Ditsy Flower" outfits in size XL. Interestingly, the size chart on the posting says XL=10Y. The printed sizes on the clothing actually say XL=12. For reference, my daughter typically wears size 10/12 in other clothing. Yellow Floral Dress: Great fit--there is room to grow both around and in length. Black Leggings: Waist was too big until she folded it down (she runs quite skinny). This won't be an issue as she's wearing them under a dress. Length was great on these. Floral Tunic: This looked like it ran a little big on her--maybe a little wide, but this might also be how it's supposed to fit. We loved that it ran longer in the back for better coverage. Oatmeal Leggings: For some reason, the oatmeal colored leggings were sent in size XXL=14/16, but I'm guessing this was an error. My daughter tried them on and they were obviously too big. She will have to grow into them. The color and feel of the fabric was nice, though. They matched the tunic top well.

Cute warm-season mix-and-match set, but one outfit was different than pictured

Amazon Essentials Girls' Long-Sleeve Outfit Set, Pack of 4 (X-Large, Gold, Ditzy Floral) Overall, I'm happy with these cute mix & match outfits from Amazon essentials. My daughter has a lot of Amazon Essentials leggings (I keep my eye on the volatile prices of the multipacks & buy them whenever there are big price drops), so it turned out she actually had leggings in the prints of both the tops already (the tops are a thinner fabric, fyi, if you already have lots of leggings). While that's a little matchy-matchy, it's nice to have extra options, since she tends to be pretty hard on leggings. However, I'm disappointed that the set is not as pictured. The golden top and black pants were correct, but instead of the "Better Together" graphic T and leaf-print pants, we received a floral shirt and plain pants. It looks like the sets aren't correctly pictured, because the name ("Golden, Ditsy Floral") makes sense with the combo we received, while the set that includes the other one we received is called "Pink, Leaves" (and the missing set has a leaf print). They're still cute, but not what we selected. They fit as expected, just right on my sturdy 4th grader, though the way she's growing, I wish I had sized up. The fabrics are soft and comfy and stretchy, and the cut of everything is great for an active, comfort-oriented kid.

Good quality, different set

These are great for school, they are made of good quality materials and are well-sewn. I ordered the Gold, Ditsy Floral and I received the gold with leaves. This was a little frustrating but it was fine as they were both okay prints. The size runs a little big, so you should consider sizing down.

They didn't shrink!

Both outfits are very cute, the material seems sturdy and my little one loved the styles. I was a little weary since the tag indicated that it was mostly cotton, so I was scared they would shrink after a cycle in the dryer, but they didn't! That was a great! Only downside, they do wrinkle easy, so as soon as they are out of the dryer, straightened them out!

Standard quality - Received different combo of items

I bought the XS for my 4 year old. She wears around a 4T or 5T. I received the pink leaf leggings and white shirt. Instead of the yellow dress and black leggings, I received light pink leggings and small floral print dress. The leggings are good thickness and comparable to other standard brands. They seem pretty long so should fit 5T. The white shirt is more of a shirt. But the other is more like a dress. In the pictures, it's hard to tell if it's a tunic or empire waist shirt. But I would say it's definitely a dress. It looks cute with the leggins under it. This is a good every day set for pre-school or playtime. But I feel like I could find these pieces for less from Cat and Jack or Carters.

So cute and love the length!!

I was supposed to get the set that had the two floral shirts, but instead got the pink floral outfit and the better together with leaf pants outfit. At first I was a bit disappointed because I purposely don't order a lot of white for my daughter because she's three and it get destroyed too fast. After seeing how cute the better together outfit is on her, I'm actually happy that we got that one. I figure it's nice that they are not so similar and she would have gotten light pants with the other outfit anyways. I love the length of the shirts because it's long almost like a dress. They are very girly looking, which is so cute. They are made well with the fabric feeling like a soft t-shirt. They fit true to size and she is able to really move around in them, which is what we need for an active preschooler. She was actually wearing one at home when she was stretching and practicing her tumbling moves and they were not restricting whatsoever. They are comfortable for her and very cute!!
