Awesome Hex to T set!

I saw this hex key set in a magazine recently so I decided to buy them. Boy am I glad I did. They are the ultimate hex set. They work as normal hex wrenches and I have A LOT of those laying around. What makes this set special is if you need more torque or a more comfortable grip, you can slide them in the adapter and they are instantly converted into a T style hex key. Super convenient and versatile. I would high recommend them over a standard hex set.

I basically only needed one unusual sized key and I was surprised at the price and what you get for the money.

Strong & gets the job done

I bought these for a specific project: modding an emove cruiser scooter with a factory model seat. Removing the hex screws on the base board to install the seat proved impossible for the set of generic Allen wrenches that came with the scooter--they warped, the stems twisted, & the hex ends sheared away when attempting to remove the screws. They simply weren't strong enough to overcome factory over-tightening, no matter how hard I tried. I bought this set of craftsman Allen wrenches, and was able to loosen the screws on the first try! Seat was successfully installed, and my new wheels are ready to roll ;)

Like the case, and have even found I had to use the handle already!

I added a photo showing half of the wrenches in the case and then two swiveled so the third could be removed, in other words you don't have to remove any of the wrenches to remove a lower one, and you don't have to swivel them as far as I did for the photo. I have another set attached to a ring, with a spring like wire holding the wrench, most of those have come off their wire. I also have drill bits in more open tray, that pop out of their holder. This design is great. Red set for metric, black for US. I have also found the balled ends helpful but I forget now why. Maybe I should get another set for my bike? For now I keep them in my closet, don't want to lose them. I just noticed the handle clips in the center I was just folding the wrenches around it, but if you line the handle up it snaps closed holding the. handle more firmly and keeps it closed. The handle has shaped holes, so like the holder, one just slides the wrench into its own size hole, and it turns with the handle. Quality? They work well so far, can't say I have had them a long time, or have experience to judge this, but I am very happy with them (and the handle )

Great reviews that are well deserved

I have used them alot since getting them. They are a great set of Hex keys. I would recommend these over many other sets I have bought in the past. I am considering buying another set to keep on hand. Good vale, great product, and yes, there is a difference between these and lesser quality types.

Me gustó por el maneral de plástico que trae, son muy buenas, aunque no me gustó que no traen grabado la marca Craftsman en las llaves, pero generalmente sirven para aló que están diseñadas ..
