Love, love, love this chair!!!
The moment I sat in the Focus chair, I immediately said "Ahhhhhhh" - and again every time after that - the entire evening after I put it together. I rarely feel that kind of comfort in an office chair, even though I am used to sitting in very expensive commercial office chairs at work. This is definitely a great value for an office chair. Not only is it sturdy, good looking and well-constructed, it is extremely functional, versatile and amazingly comfortable. Kudos to Lexington Modern for delivering such a great chair at an affordable price! I ordered the Focus office chair with the leatherette seat because I loved the arms that flip completely up and out of the way and because the curve of the back seemed as if it would provide more support. I AM NOT DISSAPPOINTED! I absolutely love this Focus chair - waaaaay more than another ergonomic chair that I had previously ordered and that cost $100 more! The Focus chair is very good looking, very comfortable, has excellent back support and the arms work perfectly in allowing me to scoot up to the desk with no problem. Yet, when I want to sit back and read, I pull the arms down and they are at a perfect height and angle for me. (I am female, 5'4", average build. However, I find that chairs that are comfortable for me are also comfortable for my husband, who is 6'3".) I should tell you that I am an interior designer who has frequently evaluated ergonomic office chairs for commercial clients. So, I am very aware of what an ergonomic chair should feel like and how it should function. This one does. While it does not offer all of the adjustments and other bells and whistles that a high-end commercial office chair would have, it does offer exactly what I need in an office chair: lumbar support; seat comfort with firm support and a waterfall front to take pressure off the back of the legs; flexible arms; and, NOT least importantly to me, it is a very good looking chair! This chair is much better looking than most every other task chair that I have seen in local office stores. I ordered the leatherette seat rather than the mesh seat because it had a higher rating, by other reviewers, than the same chair with a mesh seat so I assumed the construction of the leatherette seat must be more comfortable. While I am not usually a fan of "leatherette" materials, this material feels soft and looks very much like real leather so it is a non-issue for me. The contrasting top stitching around the seat is very handsome and suits the look of the chair, a nice added detail. Also of note, this chair glides relatively easily across my office carpeting, which has a pile height of average residential carpet, so I will not have to use a chair mat (which I hate). As I previously stated, this is the 2nd ergonomic mesh back office chair that I have ordered. The first ergonomic chair, made by another manufacturer and not ordered from Amazon, had an average rating of 4.6 stars (out of 5 stars possible) by 132 reviewers so I figured I could not go wrong. Everyone raved about the chair's comfort. For $250 (which was supposedly a deep discount of the chair's original cost), I received a very average looking chair that did not fit me, did not provide any lumbar support, would not slide into the knee space of my desk because the arms were too wide, and was very difficult to move across my office carpet. Even though the first chair had many more adjustment options than the Focus chair, it was not nearly as comfortable at any adjustment setting. I am returning it, even though disassembling the chair is a real pain.

I love my ugly chair 4+ but not 5 stars
It's May 2013 and I've had this chair since Feb 2012 and have used it nearly everyday in my home office. Since I'm at home everyday, this means using it for several hours at a time, multiple times, everyday. When I ordered this I remember I thought it was an ugly chair but I wanted an affordable office chair that would not hurt my back. I also wanted one that I could easily adjust up and down with just my left hand. It cost $149.99 back in Feb 2012 and I'm still happy I bought it then because I would buy it again. The seller on my invoice/order is Lexmod and the Lexmod Focus Office Chair was the chair I bought. It is now shipped by and sold by Amazon for 139.99. I do not know why clicking on " Mesh Office Chair - Focus Mid-back Office Task Chair with Mesh Back and Black Leatherette Seat" when looking at my order took me here to the "Edge Office Chair with Leatherette Seat" from stores123 rather than to the Lexmod chair that I actually bought since it looks like it is still available for 139.99 and Prime. The Good- You can lean back and stretch your back and it feels great. The curved in part of the chair back gives your back a lot of support The seat, that was really tight like other reviewers mentioned, softened up after some use but did not get mushy I love the arms that lift up, especially when I want to slide the chair under the desk to vacum behind it I was able to adjust it up and down with just my left hand but once I got the height where I wanted it I've pretty well left it there. The Bad - My husband assembled it but it is really hard for one person to do because of the way you have to hold the seat and back together to put the bolts in. I can only use one hand so I do not believe I could have assembled it but to be fair I didn't try either After a little more than of a year I heard a clunk and one of the bolts that holds the back to the seat had fallen out so I had to call back the husband to put the bolt back in and re-tighten the other 3. The Ugly - I still think it is ugly but I keep a small crocheted afghan hanging over the back anyway. I'll take the ugly for the comfort it has given my back.

Caster broke the 2nd day
Overall, a nice chair-- the mesh is well made, comfortable and doesn't retain heat. Exactly what I was looking for. The arms are a bit low and not adjustable. One of the casters snapped the 2nd day I had it- - and I am certainly not pushing any weight capacity. I would have been extremely upset if I hadn't already purchased replacement wheels (rubber, silent ones for wood floors), but still question the quality.

Great for the price
I bought the LexMkd Edge office chair for my home office. Generally I am impressed with it. It was easy to put together with a standard tool set and the tool provided - requires very low technical skill. The chair itself is decent quality for the price. It feels solid and well built. The back support is fine (it is not an ergonomic chair), and the armrests are solidly in place. The height is easily adjusted and moved seemlessly. This is a good product.

Probably a good price/quality buy
I like it so far. Maybe the seat is a bit short? Not sure if it's my posture or the seat but sometimes I almost slip out of the seat. Also the seat plastic border hurts a bit when you are sitting too close to the border. I know there's a version of this chair with cushion maybe it's more comfortable and don't have this border. Overall I like it, 100 times better than my previous cheap chair so I'd say it's probably worth the price and a good buy. The flexible arms are great and it fits under my desk which I did not expect so that was a nice surprise. Assembly was very simple, not sure why some people complaint about that. There are plastic caps to hide the screws which might not be that easy to insert but that's not something really complicated. Very quick and straightforward to assemble.

Good comfort but way too noisy
Update 2: lubed the bushings and it's damn near silent again. The stupid plastic bit on the bottom makes them impossible to get to, so you have to remove it, but to remove it you have to remove the base. Some screws were loose despite locktite being on them (or something along those lines, red stuff on threads). Nearly went out and bought another chair. Update: SO NOISY. I'm looking for a new chair now. I honestly don't see how I can fix the squeaks and creaks that come from the sprung potion (I really don't think lubing will help), and the creaks from the base definitely aren't fixable either. Nothing making noise is a part that would be fixed by greasing it up. The arm hinges are silent, of course I rarely have to use those. Super disappointed because I like that chair otherwise. No complaints at the price I paid. For $99 this chair would be hard to beat. At full retail I'd expect more adjustments (this has height and fixed/flex back). Much better than my costco chair I had before.

At this price, it shouldn't squeak
It looks nice; It's comfortable; adjustments are nice; you can lift the arm rests, which is more practical than you might think; but the squeaking is super annoying ans is all over the place, I'll have to dismount it and put some rubber or teflon material here and there.
