Great Springs if you want a size medium.
Typical of Chinese manufacturers. Order a Large, get a medium marked as a Large. Ordered a large. Package is marked LARGE. Spring measures 8.25 inches.

Fits Sherwood Trek split fins
Fits Sherwood Trek split fins. I put a little silicon grease on the posts on the sides of my fins to make it a little easier to get the clip receptacle on the fins. Haven't got them in the water yet but seem to fit well.

Must have for any Diver!
If you Scuba Dive, you need to have these on your fins. These heel straps are a lifesaver when it comes to getting your gear on and off. Have you ever been trying to get on a boat while the surf is beating the crap out of you and you can't get your fins off to step on the ladder? Well, these heel straps will keep you from getting banged up against the boat for five minutes while you're trying to get those cheap factory fin straps undone. The spring also allows even heel pressure so your foot does not get a hot spot from uneven pressure. Make sure you get the right size for your foot. These springs are strong and if you have the wrong size, you will feel it. I have over 50 dives with the same pair. This review is on a replacement pair for my wife who did not take care of her first pair. Like all dive gear, make sure you give these heel straps a good wash. After all, the springs are metal, metal will rust over time if you spend any amount of time in the ocean. My wife did not take care of hers, the reasons why we had to get a new pair. There is nothing fun about heel straps breaking mid-dive, it will wear you out fast. So take care of your gear people. The heel straps should mount to just about any type of fin on the market. Simply remove the old trashy factory clips and replace them. Happy diving everyone, and stay safe!

Need better quality control
I measured from peg to peg on my original straps and came up with 13", so ordered a large. They ended up being 14" peg to peg, so an inch longer than I want... no big deal, I'll swap them out for mediums, 1" shorter. Amazing exchange, got em next day, I was impressed. Verified it says medium on the bag, go to swap them out, and they are the EXACT SAME LENGTH! In the picture, my original straps at 13" (small peg hole to small peg hole), the middle set is the large @ 14" C-C, then the set on the right is the mediums at the same exact length as the large... Like I said, I did verify that I was sent large and mediums on the packaging, so that tells me there must have been a mix up at the manufacturer that slipped past QC, and someone needs to do a thorough check of the inventory. If I could get the correct size, I would update to 5 stars

Secure fit
These fin spring straps replaced original rubber strap that broke. Spring version much easier/ quicker to slip on/off, and actually feel more secure in the water. Quality good. I have old Reeflex fins, with plastic “ mushroom knobs.” Although the sizes are nominally compatible, I had to gently grind my knobs smaller, and add a “V” notch into the circular knob, to match the new clasps, which have a protruding “>”. Worth the effiort.

If they fit, they're great & cheaper than others
I have Tusa Hyflex & Sherwood Triton. On the Sherwoods, they're great. Just slip them in and the buckles snap... but the Tusas? I have tried several pairs of these straps and while I can get a little snap as they connect, the connection doesn't hold tight. You can give it a solid tug and they come apart. Can't figure out why they don't snap in and stay in a snug fit. Pity, cause I'll have to spend mmore to get another brand for the Tusa Hyflex

Worked great!
Used them once and they worked as advertised. The problem is there is not an extra small size and the small was a little loose for a women’s size six 3mm boot.

Great Replacement!
I am so happy with these straps! I bought two pair, one for an AquaLung set and the other for a Tusa set. Both fins' original straps were the quick release w/buckle style. I'm not a fan of these when having to climb back onto a boat (which is most dives). Another pair of AquaLungs I own had the rubber spring strap style and I really liked the ease of those when getting the fins both on and off. After some searching, these had good reviews and a really good price. So I figured I'd try them out. Both the AquaLung and Tusa straps were super easy to remove. Although there is a slight difference in the connecting post (one has a groove, the other doesn't) I had zero issues getting the replacement straps securely on. Since then, I've only had the opportunity to use one set of fins, my AquaLungs. I used them quite a bit during a weekend of diving certification. They worked spectacularly then and still look and feel new. There has been no loss of tension in the spring and the strap overall fits and feels comfortable on my heels. I love these and am glad I made the purchase. No regrets at all!

Seem great, sadly they didn't work for me
I took a risk ordering these, had a feeling they wouldn't work with my current fins, atomic split fins, and sadly I was right. The post is smaller on those fins and slipped right out. I did try them on my Sherwood fins and they fit the posts, however, they would be way too big to actually hold my foot in and you can't adjust them (I got a small and I'm a women's size 6). So make sure you measure posts and length you need before you buy. I gave them 4 stars because they seem like they would be awesome if they fit....Sturdy and good quality.

Very good quality but the sizing of the holes is off
The straps were very good quality, and arrived quickly. I ordered these to replace the initial ones on my fins. Unfortunately the sizing was off for the holes and they were slightly too loose for my fins (cressi pro light) even if the measurments were supposed to fit. So I had to return the straps, but I wish they fitted because they seemed really good!

I like the spring loaded device on them snugs up very nicely in the fin.
I have a pair of scuba fins that came with the same fin heel straps but unfortunately they were too big and wouldn’t hold my foot in I purchased a smaller set from Amazon.ca, the original ones we’re medium this smaller set work great well worth the money. I would defiantly buy them again can’t say they weren’t inexpensive but well worth the money.

Worked well....then loop broke
Super convenient but after a year, the heel loop handle broke on one of them. Makes getting it off impossible without using buckle and getting on more difficult as it is now a two hand job

Take a close look at the photos
These are awesome, but they do not fit my fins, so they are going back. My fins are ScubaPro Twin Jet Split fins. The buckles on my fins are not compatible.
