Awesome straps for Old ScubaPro Jet fins!!!
Easy to install and loads better then the original rubber strap design. I love how comfortable they are.

Order larger than you think.
Just received them and so far, so good. Like others here have said, installation on the older model Twin Jets is very straightforward. Just use a hammer and thin punch on a firm surface to push out the pins, then use pliers to squeeze the pins of the spring straps once you have them in place. I used vice grips. First impression: They seem sturdy and well-made. There are considerably less failure points than the ones that it came with. Two swivels and buckles per fin? No thanks. I'm a little worried that the rubber finger pull might break after some use, so I'll comment back after a few months of sun and salt water. Fit: At first glance after installing they seemed small, but once I got my boot on and on there and slid the strap around my heel, I knew it was a good fit. It might just be stiff due to being new, but it feels very solid against my heel and it definitely holds my foot all the way into the fin. We'll see if it stretches with use. So far, very happy with it. *Edit* After 16 dives, I feel the M is too short a spring for my foot. I have a Medium sized twin jet fin for my 9.5 foot, as recommended by Scubapro. I wear soft booties and this spring was pushing my toes way too far through the opening at the front of the fin, my toes would be numb from loss of circulation after 30 minutes. While the spring performed as expected, the M was a size too small for me.

These fit Aqualung Rocket II Fins
UPDATE i wear a size 10bootie in this fin and (medium) straps are slightly too big, there’s no tension at all against foot. Inaccurate measurement as listed ——— They’re not perfect (see gap in photo), this doesn’t effect the fit at all or even positioning when holding in hand. It’s just enough tension I already am lookin forward to how quickly don/doffing fins. Springs look good. The back rubber piece is softer rubber than my fin. Nbd. Def worth the money.

As detailed and work awesome.
Was originally worried by the review relating that the pins were not fully formed, but figured that I had enough tools and insight to be able to work around any issue with metal bending. Was pleasantly surprised when they arrived with both top and bottom pins property bent and just needing to be closed into position with a pain of channel locks. This was especially great news as my old Scuba Pro Jet Fins straps were very nearing the end of their economic lives. The springs hold my neoprene boots into the fin wells comfortably and are MUCH easier to remove after a long dive with cold fingers then some of the clasps on newer fins. Very happy with the quality and fit. Measure from lug to lug while wearing your boots should take you to the right size. Love these fins for diving near coral or really silty bottom dives and can continue to love them with these new spring straps!

Awesome straps
These are awesome! They brought my old yet otherwise unchanged Jet Fins into the modern era and they work beautifully. No problems with them losing their stretch or rusting. Love the oversized finger loop for carrying them down the beach in thick gloves as well. Installation was simple and intuitive enough, although it should be noted that you'll most likely need something like burly cable snips or an angle grinder to remove the old metal pins that holds your old Jet Fin straps on as they aren't exactly pliable. I was able to use a pair of bicycle cable cutters I have lying around to address this issue. Beyond that, the new straps were easy to install with a medium set of pliers.

Be careful not to tear the rubber section when removing old buckle
I liked the ease of installation. They come spread apart and once you have both sides installed, take a pair of needle nose pliers and gently squeeze so sides of buckle are even on either size. As you know with rocket fins the buckle locks back these do the same. My “Rockets” original buckles had to be pried apart which wasn’t that bad.

great, so far anyway
Okay so I got these replacement straps in couple days ago, arrival time was spot on. Purchased for my ScubaPro twin jet fins, installation was easy with a punch, hammer, and pair of channel locks. Install time was under ten minutes and what a world of difference getting back on the boat. Also a consistent hold with no farting around with my quick release buckles. As a point of reference I wear a medium fin and got the medium spring, so far so good, a bit snug but not uncomfortable. I'm certain after a few more dives they will be perfect. The rubber thumb hold makes putting on/removal of fins pretty easy. So far I would buy another set and I would recommend them, if I encounter any issues I'll be sure to update this review

note
when removing the old clips/fasteners, look for a stainless screw on the s/s clip, if there is one remove the screw then the s/s clip, if not, then use a dremel and grind them off. The new strap + fittings are easyly installed using a plumbers wrench. Simply squeeze the U clip onto the fin. Note, when sizing the new s/s straps, i have size 11 drysuit boots with Turtle fins, i selected size "M" straps and they are good. Overall, these are good quality, at a good price
