Awesome!

I usually use it for my fins. Only thing that’s a downside is it hangs while diving. So if your using it while frog kicking along the bottom it could cause an entanglement or stir up silt. But I tuck it in my strap after I don my fins so no biggie. All in all a great buy. ????????

Great for shore diving!

I bought this for a trip to Bonaire and it did its job keeping my hands free from holding my fins and masks while entering the ocean for a shore dive. Shore diving in Bonaire, you want to have your hands free since some of the entrances are not the easiest to get to.

just what I needed

this item is perfect for attaching your fins to your BCD while getting out of the water either onto a boat or shore diving. It's also great for hanging you fins for drying.

A MUST HAVE

Everyone needs to buy one of these for your gear. With a 5mm wetsuit on and gloves, I can't feel the mask strap on my arm. For some reason I forget it is even there and when I take off my BC in the water...there goes the mask. It's also handy for putting your gear on and then walking to your shore entrace. I just put the mask and fins in the straps and now I have free hands for whatever I need to do. When I get in and out of the water, the straps make sure everything stays with me and doesn't get lost. Our dive shop can order these in for us, but we needed them quicker than what they can get us. So we ordered them online and the next weekend went to a dive event hosted by our dive shop. Everyone loved them so much, our dive shop is now ordering bunches for everyone and some to have in the store. I can't stress enough how awesome this strap is and how much money it has saved me (I've already dropped my mask twice, and we dropped a gopro camera...thankfully the camera was recovered but the masks are somewhere 210ft in a quarry in TN)

Good quality:

I hang both fins on this unit when shore diving... PROS: Works great, good quality, snap are not cheap. CONS: A little long, ... manufactures could shorten by 2 inches.

Buy a retractable laniard instead

The product is what you buy. Found better product that is retractable instead and is so much better.

A must have in Bonaire

I am writing this while divinng in Bonaire. I highly recommend having fin keepers while diving here because entry is often tricky with rocky bottoms and rolling waves, and having your hands free makes a huge difference. They simply work perfectly.
