Fit on a pair of 27 year old fins

My husband was a Navy Diver and we spent many years in Guam. He purchased US Diver Compro fins back in 1995 and used those daily. Fast forward to 2022, our son enlisted in the Navy and will be going to dive school. Before he attends dive school, he needed to train with fins. He broke out dads old fins, cleaned them up and attached the new straps and they are like brand new. Fit perfectly and great price

Fit my Float tube fins

These fit my float tube fins perfectly. Though they were a little pricey for a couple rubber straps with plastic clips. Still cheaper than buying a new set of fins.

First dive disaster

These seem like a great fin strap, and to be fair, they are a great mid level strap. Except for the first time I went to use them. Literally at the waters edge, gear on, having made the walk to the rocks, over the rocks, and sitting down, I go to put my fins on. First dive with these new straps. First fin goes on fine, no worries. I go for the second fin, put it on, cinch up the strap, and boom! The whole strap comes undone. The pin holding the strap into the latch missing. Now, I've lost pins before. After many dives. Many, many dives. This is the first time I've ever had a strap pin come out on day one. I had to make my way back to the car and remove my dive gear so I could figure out how to save my dive. all in all, a decent strap for the price, but the pin is dubious at best. Im going to have to get a cotter pin for it to make it work and that in itself is a hassle.

Great Replacement Part

It works. I have aqualung sport fins and the back went missing in the ocean. These work just fine. They're comfortable and stay put.

FITS OLE SCHOOL DACOR TURBOFLEX FINS !!

I have been searching for a few years for a fin strap that would fit my Dacor Turboflex fins. These fit great !!

Quick release?

I needed to replace a quick release strap on a pair of AquaLung fins I've had for years. With some struggling I was able to attach this strap to my fins. Unfortunately the strap didn't tighten up enough for my women's size 6 foot and no matter how hard I tried to push the quick release it would not work. The plastic on the buckle is flimsy. I didn't return this because, for the price, my husband can probably use it in the future as an emergency backup. I ordered a more expensive but substantial quick release strap. You get what you pay for!

Pretty good, not universal

Got these when my straps on some cheap scuba fins died, these are too big for my fin knobs to connect into. I ended up designing a 3d part to replace the plastic on these, but couldn't find any cheap rubber straps, so ended up keeping these because the straps are great :P

Fit TUSA Trii-ex Imprex fins

These straps fit the posts of my TUSA fins, and appear to be a quality replacement (same material, same gauge). I have not yet tried them in open water. The male component of the replacement fastex buckle appears identical (where contact surfaces are concerned) to the original, but it is ever so slightly different. Any tug on the strap when the male replacement component when seated in the original TUSA female component will cause the buckle to release. I believe a quick filing on the clasp of the replacement male component would solve the issue, but I chose instead to replace the entire original assembly with the replacement assembly. This is easily done by unclipping the old strap, pushing forcefully on the female component of the original TUSA buckle so that it slides forward on its post, rotating the buckle so that its opening is up and forward, then lifting (pulling) it off the post. The new buckle is installed doing the same operations in reverse. Minus one star for making me replace the entire assembly, but otherwise, the equipment looks and feels tight and solid, and I do not expect any issues.

These are not universal fit

Sadly we did not try the strap before going to the Galapagos Islands and we were disappointed to learn that the buckle was not a universal fit, but couldn't be used on my husband's fin. Too late for a refund too. Sad.

Must Have Spare

Perfect fit. Great price. Recommend all divers keep a spare set as you will not find one in the Caribbean when you lose a strap on a dive.
