Great dive weights

If you're a scuba diver who likes to carry your own weights in soft mesh packets - this dive weight is for you. We love them. They fit well in our BCD and help us get down below the surface easily.

Six pounds is six pounds

Six pounds (exactly) of spent lead shot packaged in a very secure mesh bag. It was a little difficult to open the bag, as it should be, to empty it into a clock counterweight. Upon opening, it was mostly clean shot with just a few tiny scraps of target paper included.

Great soft weights for diving

I bought a full set of these from 1lb to 5lb two each and they are awesome. They have just enough space in the lead bag to manipulate the bag to fit into the trim pockets as well as main weight pockets. The material of the bag and stitching is quality as well.

Needed the lead

The bag contains small pea size flat discs (roughly consistent size) pieces of lead in about .02 ounces each. I used it them to fill a void in a pinewood derby car.

It's a weight

It's a lead bag weight if that's what you're looking for that's what you're going to get however it is not number six shot like it says inside if you plan on opening them

Great weights but plan to have you luggage checked

I like these weights overall, they are fast drying and fit great in my BCD. However, every time I have had my luggage searched because of the beads at 6 different airports. I would not recommend traveling with them.

Perfect weight for making hats

Not filled with actual lead shot

Although the product information describes this as being #4 shot, in actuality it is filled with lead pancakes. perhaps the equivalent weight of a #4 shot. Clearly the leads are manufactured by dripping liquid lead into water so they take on random shapes. No importance if you wish to use this product as a diving weight. I was intending to insert the shot into fishing lures that I make as counterbalance. the way she goes
