New design is a little tricky.

This is a great personal shaver and trimmer. I will say, though, like many of the other reviews have stated, this new design has removed the ribbed groove that was previously on the model before, which really did help in holding the shaver while trimming. Once you have a little soap, it can get slippery. It does take some getting used to, I would say you just have to be very mindful and careful when using it. Aside from that, it has all the great features of the design before. As far as trimmers go, I would say in my opinion, Gillette is one of the best that I have owned. I would still recommend it, just make sure you have a tight grip.

I have been using this style of battery operated razor for years to trim my bikini area I love it for its perfect size and it's easy to clean. I've gone through several over the years because though they are "waterproof" they tend to eventually take in water and then stop working. I've recently decided it was best to no longer store it in the shower but take it out of the shower when not in use. I hope that will help prolong the electric razor factor. I love the blades that come with this though they tend to be a bit spendy for me so I mainly use this for the electric razor factor unless I find blades on clearance.

I can speak only to my experiences with this product. This razor / trimmer isn't going to work for every single person alive, because our bodies and likes are all different. So I can't promise you this will work for you. I, personally, have been buying these razors for years. I'll never buy another one so long as they don't change them. They do what they claim to do. I get a very, very close shave, the blades last a long time, the trimmer does a fantastic job, and yes, there is a moisturizing quality as well. Does the moisturizing gel on the blade last forever? No, it doesn't, especially if you get soap on the blade. But it will last a long time, and even if you have to start using shaving gel in the end, I haven't found the razor to be any less effective. Cleaning the blade is simple, but yes, it will eventually dull, as all blades do. That's not a defect of this product. It's just a fact of all razors. I have very coarse hair, so it's possible my blades may dull faster than others, but they still last a long, long time. The device is definitely waterproof, and the battery on the trimmer is well protected from any water damage. It, too, lasts a long time. I've found this razoe is great for traveling, but beware. There is no cover for the blade. I'm not taking a star off for this, because no cover was advertised. Just wrap the blade up carefully and store the razor. I've purchased these to leave in different places when I travel, and I've found that each and every one is worth the money spent and more. They work, they last, and they're very high quality.

Most convenient thing I own.

I've used this razor for years. You can't beat it for convenience and they last a really long time and take a lot of abuse.(I've dropped it more times than I can recall.) I don't really like the "moisturizing " strips on the razors. They feel slimy to me but other than that, I think this is a great product.

Love it

I love it! I use it for my pits, legs, and eyebrows, and I like the electric end for my private parts. The only reason I won't give it five stars is that you have to press and hold the on button. This often makes it super uncomfortable and difficult when you're trying to trim your privates. If it weren't for the awkwardness and hand cramps, I'd give it 5 stars with no hesitation.

This is not what’s advertised in the picture I understand it’s a razor and two extra refills but it’s supposed to be a razor in a package with three refills not a razor in a Ziploc bag has Amazon all of a sudden become wish?
