Didn't last two years
I bought this item in February 2019 because my refrigerator and freezer temperature control was erratic. I had already changed most of the thermistors, but that was because they were the low-cost parts. When I changed the control board, the refrigerator and freezer began operating properly. But, in the last month or so (Nov 2020), the temperature swings are back at times. I think the unit should last longer!

I bought this and installed it about a month ago. I waited this long, before writing a review, to make sure that it worked properly. I was having the same issue as some of the other buyers - Ice cubes would not stay frozen and I also noticed that my fridge could not get colder that 47 degrees. Milk would stay cool, but not last more than a week. Pop was ok but I like it ICE cold and that wasn't happening. After Installing the new motheroard, which was a different model from the one I had (WR49X10152), I worked beautifully. I set my temperature in my fridge at 35 and it got there and stayed there. As for my freezer, I'm now able to keep ice cubes frozen and keep ice cream on the top shelf without it going soft. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. It was SUPER simple to replace. You don't have to even take any food out, just unplug it, remove the bottom right panel on the back of the fridge, Unscrew the motherboard, pull out all of the plugs (remember where they go), put the new motherboard in, replug all of the connectors and screw the panel back and plug it in DONE!!! Literally 7 mins 8 secs! I Love it. Saved me $400.

Perfect Replacement. Fixed multiple issues.
Perfect replacement for my GE fridge. Water dispenser was cutting in and out. Probably some bad relays on the control board as I had replaced all the other items related to the dispenser. This fixed the problem and also keeps the bottom custom cool area inside the fridge at proper temperature.

Saved my some cash
I had my local appliance repair guy come out to diagnose what was wrong with my fridge. He said my control board was out and wanted twice the amount I spent on this board. I got the part number and ordered it myself. I watched a few DIY videos on installing the board and presto!!! It was installed. the fridge is working fine so far and its been a few months. Saved me about $150 bucks!!

Still working fine after 3 years.
Still working great after nearly 3 years. I suggest changing the defroster along with this part with a repair. I made the mistake of changing just this part now 3 years later I am changing the defroster.

Perfect and a massive saving over as service specialist coming to our home and repairing.
I had a GE Profile refrigerator pretty high end and expensive but within 2 years we had issues with temperature cycling both in the refrigerator side and the freezer side of the appliance. Contacted SEARS regarding service engineer and was told $125 for the call out fee and the person on the phone indicated the problem was the compressor. NOT AT ALL it was the microcontroller on the interface board was bad and this board was the antidote. Years later it works just fine. Great quick and easy fix. BE CAREFUL of part numbers as GE tends to change numbers to create a little smoke and mirrors and I assume this is for the service engineers. Google your PCB part number first then read advise on the number changes.

it works now. But not a well as it did when it was new.The freeze still will go up and down as much as 3 degrees .
