Killer boots, terrible insoles
I would have given these a 4.5 star rating if Amazon would have let me, but I just can’t give it 4 because I feel that’s too low. The one problem I had with them is that the insoles are some of the worst I’ve ever seen, and if you’re planning on putting hundreds of miles on these babies, you’re absolutely going to want to swap them out with something more comfortable. They are comically and embarrassingly cheap and unsupportive, especially for a hiking boot. Otherwise they fit and feel great, and didn’t take long to break in. I wore them around the house for a few hours without any discomfort and they’ve been solid since. Just make sure you get your insoles and cut them to try when they arrive so you can send ‘em back/swap ‘em out if they don’t work out. I didn’t have any size problems and my 9.5’s fit true to fit for me, but if your insoles end up being monstrous, you may want to size up a bit.

Affordable hiking shoes that are comfortable, tough, waterproof, and stylish.
These hiking shoes are surprisingly good quality for their affordable price. They are comfortable to wear all day, tough, waterproof, and stylish. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great pair of hiking shoes on a budget.

Lasted 5 years delivering mail in the snow!
I bought my first pair almost exactly 5 years ago. Wore them for 4 winters delivery mail. They only started to lose their water proofing this year. That's the reason I replaced them with the new (same model) boot you see in the same image. They are still very comfortable. The tread just finally wore away and they were starting to let water in. Could not be more impressed to have received so much use for such a reasonably priced boot! They fit just a little large. But I've liked that, because it allows me to wear a thicker, warmer sock with these than I would with a regular shoe and get a good fit.

Not for winter
Very comfortable and durable! I know they are for hiking/walking. Not for being out in the cold for any length of time.

Excellent hiking boots. Me and 2 of my kids use them and are very happy with them.
I bought these for my son after I bought the same ones (in another color). This is the feedback I put on mine: After several hiking routes through the mountains, my boots look as if they had not been used. After a good cleaning at the end and removing all the mud, they look like new. They are very comfortable, they look good, they seem to be very sturdy, they have excellent grip in mud, gravel and loose dirt, and they are also waterproof. What more can I ask for? The only thing I could point out is that they are not the lightest on the market, but nothing that is uncomfortable. I recommend them.

Great fit and feel
I bought these boots because of the reviews and being "Amazon's choice", and because I have had a pair of Columbia boots for 10 years that are more of a winter boot, but I've also had them in Oregon in wet weather and have run miles in them. I REALLY loved these new boots for the two hikes they made it on. I got them on August 27th, 2020.. and right out of the box they were comfortable and light. They were an excellent fit for my foot and I love the look of them. The traction on the steep terrain was fantastic. I wore them around the house for a few hours and that was about it before I took them hiking the next day and I didn't have any weird rubbing any where, they were just super comfortable. The following weekend, exactly the same results, easy and comfortable to hike in. I LOVED THEM! Then for this morning's hike and only the 3rd time wearing them..... I was lacing them up and the boot lace hook came right out. SUPER disappointing. Today is September 7th and sadly, I'm sending them back today. I thought about exchanging them for a new pair, but after talking to my buddy who I went hiking with, he's had his Solomon boots for 4 years of extreme hiking and he still loves them and they still look great, so I'm buying the Solomon's. I could easily give the Columbia's 5 stars for fit/weight/comfort/looks... but being only able to wear them on two hikes, the durability is not good and the best I can do is 3 stars. Very disappointing.

Wait For Sale
These are cheap. I bought my pair on sale for about 1/3 of full price and I am satisfied with that, but I would not pay more than half the normal price for this low to mediocre level of quality. The materials lackluster, the attention to detail is nonexistent, and the waterproofing leaks. These are not a serious boot at all. Do not expect them to last or to serve well on the trail. That said, if you are looking for a mid-height knock around and catch a sale, you could do much worse.

Comfy, strong and sure footed.
These are great boots. I wear these everyday, confidently striding through shallow streams or deep puddles. The upper has maintained its dark black appearance despite all sorts of mud and gore. The laces are strong and an appropriate length. If they are as durable as the timberlands they have replaced, I will be happy to buy again.

Nicht bei Nässe zu gebrauchen!
Leider Schrott! Keine Empfehlung.

Kurze Lebensdauer geplant - Radiergummi Sohlen
