For the price, you do get a thicker- less watered down paint

I'm an Artist. I go through so much paint. I have ordered numerous different brands on Amazon. For the price, this paint has vivid colors. It is more heavy duty. I usually buy the full gallon set. Adding extra Black and white for my Studio. It works very we with additional blending mediums.

Darker green than pictures

The consistency and quality of the paint is decent. Not quite as heavy bodied as mont Marte brand acrylics. I don’t mind the color at all, it’s just not close to what the picture shows it to be. The picture makes it look like a bright green but it’s much darker.

Don't buy SaxArts Acrylic Paint.

The product smells old. It has blobs and liquid that don't mix no matter what. Impossible to spread/brush, uniformly being inconsistent in its body/matter. Not mixable no matter the constant attempts. Impossible to get a smooth and uniform coverage on canvas. A total loss. Emailed the company asking for suggestions for a possible solution and got no answers. Never purchase this brand after 3 (three) 1/2 gal (Green, Magenta, Navy Blue) resolved in a total lo$$ and great frustration.

Hue of green

I love this paint. That is not an issue. I purchased this green thinking that it was more of a yellow green , even though it is labeled Emrald green it is a dark green. I already have a darker green. In the image it shows much much lighter. I just received it and it is the same exact as what I have. I did not check it out before purchasing it. I just went by the image.

This paint was so thick it was unpourable and unusable.

I've used Sax Tru Flow Heavy Body acrylic paint before and it was great. But, this paint I bought recently was so thick that it can't pour out. I can cut it with a palette knife and it holds its form! My palette knife doesn't even get any paint on it after cutting off a chunk of paint. I bought the first bottle and it arrived in sub-zero temperature - so, I sent it back and they sent me another bottle pretty quickly. But the second bottle was just like the first one. Useless. I don't know why this paint is so bad. I've used plenty of paint but this time it was useless. I would have sent it back but I delayed too long. I'd write the company, but I can't find any way to speak with them. So, useless paint
