They break too easily!

I like the lenses and the way I can read my electronics with them, but the plastic arms do break too easily if you don’t use both hands to put them on your face.

2 Years use, ear pieces falling apart, blueing on lenses coming off one side. Optitex 2101

I liked this pair at first. After about a year with a couple days a week use, the rubber around the ear pieces is coming apart showing a gap with the rubber and the metal under it. Additionally, there is something now wrong with th blueing in the lenses that is now distracting like it was rubbed off. I tried multiple ways of cleaning to try to fix/clean but to no avail. I never had any issue with the nose piece or the glasses hinge. The issues I see and have experienced are the rubber ear pieces and the lenses themselves. The missing buing is only on one side and is blotchy and distracting. This write up is for the exact pair in the picture. I had another newer pair with a plastic frame and higher magnification but from the same company. That pair was not as durable and one of the eyeglass loops just snapped while wearing doing computer work and one hinge was pulling away from the plastic - model E2103-150-001. I bought both pairs through Wegmans grocery store. The second pair, plastic ones I returned at the store and they allowed a cheaper pair to exchange when there was no longer same pair available. Given the prices by this company Select-A-Vision, I expected better quality.

They scratch real easy

The pair I bought at Staples for $19.99 and within the first 2 months of protected use they were scratched. Cleaning them was impossible also.

Coating on the lenses reflects light/images back at your eyes

I picked up my pair at at my local big box office supply store for the hours that I have to sit in front of a computer screen. The issue with these glasses is that light coming off of my monitor is causing a reflection of my own face/eyes in the lenses. Very noticable if you have the lights off behind you and the only light is your computer screen. If there is some light behind you at the right angle, you will also see it in the lenses. Very distracting. I had to go back to using regular reading glasses because it is so bad.

Great quality

These glasses are made very well, I've had a set for years on my end table and I've had no issues. I keep two extra sets one in my vehicle and one in my nightstand. That should tell you how much I like them!
