Awesome puzzle, insanely hard

Such a nice looking puzzle but it is proving to be soooooo difficult. Very very dark and lots of muddled purples and browns. Still glad I bought though.

extremely hard, poorly printed

I love a challenging puzzle....however I think this puzzle is challenging for unintended reasons. Viewing the artwork on the PC, it's gorgeous. Dark, but the details are distinguishable. On the actual puzzle, it's just darkness. Like watching season 8 of Game of Thrones levels of dark. Where's Yasha? She's out there with the Dothraki somewhere. The puzzle and the box are printed on the same glossy faux-canvas style paper. It's so shiny you have to keep angling the peices this way and that to figure out what shade of brown is printed on it. The canvas texture further complicates things. The only guide photo you get is a teeny tiny business card size piece of the same canvas paper, with the image printed even smaller on it. The ink does not reach all the way into the pits of the canvas texture, which just further muddies it. (See zoomed in detail in the pictures) It's not very pretty to look at even when completed. As you can see in the photos, the glare is so steong and the colors are so muddy that you cant make anything out. This is regardless of light source or intensity. Nothing like viewing the artwork on the PC. I do most 1000 piece puzzles in 4-8 hours usually, this one took around 32. 32! The glare was painful to the eyes and made it near impossible to make out the details. Many pieces that didn't actually go together fit together too well and the sameness of the colors made it impossible to tell if it was a true match or a false one. Not a fun puzzle. It was a frustrating experience.

Glossy pieces

It’s a cool looking puzzle bought it not thinking about trying to put it together. For some reason the pieces have a glossy finish to them if you try to look at them straight on you can’t see anything unless you have perfect light. Very disappointed don’t know if all their puzzles are like that but don’t want to waste anymore money on their products

Muddy Brown Image

Ok, I love critical role and I love puzzles. How could this go wrong? BADLY! My cousin bought this puzzles because she knows I like puzzles and it is TERRIBLE! The original artwork is dark and subtle, but at least I can see some of the details. Whoever put it on the puzzle let the contrast fade from the image so I have a box full of black, dark brown and darker brown pieces that are almost completely indistinguishable. Add to that the high gloss so I can't see them well in a glare. This does not make for a fun puzzle, and the actual image isn't even nice to look at since it can barely be made out.
