Very pleasantly surprised....
First, understand that I'm a geek. I have the kind of friends who build their own costumes and are really snobby about the store-bought stuff. I, however, do not sew which means, for me, beggars can't be choosers. Second, I sing in a band. I got lucky that we decided to go with a superhero theme but was about to lose major geek cred points because, as one of the 3 singers, the theme was "sexy/sassy" superheroes. Third, my 2 fellow vocalists chose Wonder Woman and Robin, forcing me into the DC Universe. This kind of thing is important. If you'd been a fly on the wall for the (mostly tongue-in-cheek) argument with my husband, you would swear the earth would explode if I went with a Marvel character. In comes, the Lady Flash costume. I wanted a skirt and it had a skirt. I was all set for dubious quality. You get what you pay for and, if you compare this costume against the actual Flash ensemble, it's lacking major attention to detail. That all being said.... What a surprise! The dress seems very well constructed overall and a good quality. It fit very well (I'm a size 14, purchased a Large). The picture makes it look like the logo is just some sort of silk screen or something but it's actually a nice large patch. The only issue is the velcro closure requires some re-sewing. It's really loose. The tights fit okay but the dress is really short. I've ordered some red boy shorts to wear underneath so I can dance around on stage without giving the audience a whole other kind of show. The mask is okay... nothing great. It will serve its purpose and I'm punching up the costume with a yellow headband that I added some lightening bolt additions to match the original Flash costume. The gloves... quality is meh but they're serviceable. And with a little ingenuity can be punched up with some yellow accents to make them better reflective of The Flash. Lastly, the boot covers that seem to be a big complaint here.... I'm about to climb up on a geek soapbox here so feel free to tune out. I wouldn't know about the boot covers because I threw them away immediately. Here's the thing, ladies....if you're buying this costume and complaining about the boot cover quality, you need to go look at a picture of The Flash and get over it. The Flash wears yellow, not red, boots. Do yourself a favor and buy some yellow go-go boots like I did when you order this. Or buy some yellow legwarmers and wear those. Just forget about the stupid boot covers.... there. I said it. Feel free to hate on this review all you want. All in all - I could not be more pleased with this costume and my geeky comic loving gal pal who helped me come up with some ideas for fixing it up was really impressed with it, too. With my additions, dressing as a "sexy superhero" this Halloween should actually not end up being a geek embarrassment. :)

Great costume!
I'm 5'8" and 133lbs with an athletic build. After reading the other reviews I decided to order a size medium. It was a little snug around my neck but a small would have been way to small and a large would have been to big so this was the correct size to get. This really is a great costume and I got a lot of compliments on it, the only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 was because I had to pull the boot covers over my shoes periodically through out the night because they kept creeping up over my shoes. Also and most disappointing was the red tights that came with it had two holes in it before I even put them on.

The FLASH!!
This costume was amazing !! I was so excited the flash is my favorite super hero, it fit me very well although a tiny bit snug but it was comfortable. I am 20 , 4'11 and 112 lbs I got the small . The dress and tights fit me well the gloves were loose , but I do have small arms, I didn't wear the boot covers & just wore the mask on top my head ! I loved it I got ALOT of compliments I added the glitter for a special touch

This costume had me getting compliments all night at work! I loved the arm pieces and had me feeling like I was moving faster than the Flash all night long. It's super cute, although I did use my own pair of red leggings instead because I didn't want to go for the full leg coverage as I live in Key West and it's a little hot down here, haha. There was an itchy tag in the back of the neck that irritated me, I had my boyfriend rip it off, and it caused a small rip in the back of the costume, but that's not the seller's fault. Wonderful costume and help up well and kept me cool all night. Neck is a bit small but the adjustable velcro back made it an easy fix.

This actually fit perfectly. I love it. The things that I didn't like were the gloves which were very loose. I also didn't like the boot covers. Maybe it's because I wore 6" heels with my costume but those boot covers were so hard to work with. I had to use double sided tape to keep them down on my shoe lol. I'm sure they'd be fine if I wore flats though. Also those leggings that come with it are cute but be aware... If you bend over you'll be the flashiest flash at the party. They're extremely sheer. If the party lighting is dim then you're fine

Awesome costume!!!
This is such a great costume. I bought it for my 15 year old daughter and it is adorable on her and still modest enough that I will let her out of the house.She loves it. It even came with covers for her boots. I didn't pay attention when we ordered it, it's what she wanted and the price was right so that was a great bonus. I thought we were going to have to spray paint some old boots, but nope. She is ready for all the parties!!

The dress is pretty decent but don't count on even using the tights.
I didn't expect this costume to be high quality but I did expect to be able to use each part of the costume. The second I started to pull the tights above my ankle there was already a run in the foot and as I pulled them up my leg they ran in 3 more places without even being snagged. It's like they had tiny holes that ran the second the tights were stretched. There was also a black stain on the tights - looked like it was from a marker. The gloves and boot covers stayed on ok, but the boot covers don't cover your entire shoe. You'd have to tape or glue it on to your shoe. The dress was pretty decent quality but it seemed to be short waisted. And I have a shorter torso so I was very surprised how short it was on me. I'm 5'4" and the medium size was a bit too short. If you've got your own red tights, you can make this costume work. And if you're SUPER skinny, it will look great on you. Well, super skinny people look great in anything. I'm average size and it was cute on me, but ideal. I ended up returning it after trying it on because of the tights.

Stains
Fits true to size. But dyed my body and everything else red. The chairs I sat in are stained. I wouldn’t recommend.

Extremely disappointed. The dress looks used. It's missing red gloves, tights, boot tops and it's eye mask. I feel like I just got swindled. Someone from customer success better contact me.

Love this costume, a bit short but if you wear red leggings or thick tights then the length is not an issue, material doesn't feel cheap at all either,. Only problem is that the boot covers are a bit hard to keep on the foot.
