Great
Great for small spaces, drain board works perfectly. This rack is perfect because the plates are stacked perpendicular to the sink (not facing the sink). If you're like me you've been trained to lift the drain board to dump excess water regardless of whether or not it is designed to self drain. The rack is perfect because the plates stay put - racks where plates face the sink crash among themselves because they move around when the rack is tilted. With this little gem by Rubbermaid I'm able to avoid, what Katherine Hepburn used to say, "the little things that enrage us" and cracked dishes. Thanks Rubbermaid.

Drain board does not drain like prior models
This is a nice quality set of products. The only issue for our household is that the drain board does not drain. We are going to drill some holes to let it drain into the sink. The prior model we had prevented standing water.

Great product
Comparison shopping this was cheaper/better price value for the $ than anywhere else (even Target or Walmart); the sponge holder is superfulous for my needs; would rather have a hook vs. suction cups so it would attach to the drainer. Rubbermaid please note this idea. The brush is a bonus. I replace drainer and mat once a year as the hard water deposits on black make it necessary. Perfect size for the small area I have and for just the two of us and our daily plates and utensils . Still sturdy manufacturing; I disagree with the reviewer that said it was junk.

Best Little Dish Rack Set Ever
Over the years, I've purchased a number of dish racks and mats for small sink areas. They seem to be becoming increasingly difficult to find in stores, so when I found this Rubbermaid set on Amazon, I was thrilled, especially because it included a hanging sponge caddy and scrubber. I also happen to have red kitchen appliances, so the color was the proverbial icing on the cake! I live in a hard water state, but it takes a while for deposits to form on the mat. When they do, I use a vinegar solution to easily scrub off the white deposits. I couldn't be happier with this Rubbermaid set!

Rungs are too small for regular sized dishes
I was blinded by the red color and totally overlooked that this is a small rack. That's on me, so I'm not deducting for that, but you should measure out just how small it really is to be sure it's what you want. My problem is that the slots, the rungs, whatever the thingies are that let you stack dishes, are sized to fit the rack, not regular-sized dishes. It is nearly impossible to stack bowls in it, especially after stacking a couple of full-sized plates. And it's inflexible, because the silverware container (which is, as mentioned elsewhere, a tad too shallow, only works on one end of the rack, so the slot thingies only face one direction. It's held up okay so far, which is good, but it annoys me almost every time I use it, so I will probably end up replacing it before it wears out. I do like and use the brush regularly, and it took several tries, but I finally got the sponge basket to stick to my sink, so I like that. The color is awesome, though it does show hard water deposits if not cleaned several times a week.

Exactly what I was looking for
I read the negative reviews and was skeptical about buying this. However, it has turned out to be a great drying rack - sturdy and just the right size. Love the accessories that come with it as well. Glad I took a chance and bought it.
