Won't soak up water worth a dam
After reading reviews I decided this sounds to good to be true and it was. The mount is super wide and fits terrible and the mop itself doesn't absorb anything. It just pushes the water around. I even washed it thinking the fibers had to open up and still works like crap. I went back to the mop head that came with my mop and it works way better then this overpriced useless POS.

I've wanted a reusable, washable mop head for some time. I decided to go with this rope mop head after a little research online said rope mop heads were the best, and because I know and trust the Rubbermaid brand. I was still a little skeptical that is would be effective, but I was happily surprised! This mop head took up muddy paw prints in half the time as my old mop, and, with the Rubbermaid Commercial FG758088YEL WaveBreak Side Press Combo bucket, it wrings out dryer than my old mop, which means my floor dries faster, too. I'm using this to clean my house, not in a commercial setting, and I'm really glad I picked the medium size instead of the extra large; the medium is plenty big for my purposes. I'm really happy with this purchase, and would wholeheartedly recommend it!

Compact, sturdy, holds well in the mop head, washes beautifully in the washing machine
The middle band is wide, about 4.5 inches, which connects to the mop holder. Normally this is only about an inch. The good thing is that is stays stable in the mop holder. The actual length of the mop head is a littler shorter than I thought, the length on each side is about 11 to 12 inches, versus 14 inches that I normally use (but the size I bought was a medium). The mop is super absorbent, and works better than a longer mop head, and is also a little lighter. It has sturdy end bands at both ends of the mop head to keep the mop from pulling apart, especially when laundering in the washing machine. All-in-all, I like it and intend to buy more.

Not So Convenient to Use
I like the fact that this type of mop head can be changed out or taken off to wash. However, mopping itself is a challenge because the mop head is actually split into two sections. This causes the flow of cleaning to be more of a task of keeping the yarn/mop closed together. I have to keep flipping the mop to keep the thickness consistent. Not a big fan but no deal breaker.

Try it, you'll like it.
I love this mop head because it makes mopping floors so much easier..Don't let the smaller size fool you, it cleans up floors just as well as the larger size mop without the added weight. I'm a janitor (age 57) and my shoulders no longer hurt using this one. You don't have to buy a smaller handle for this ,I'm using the same handle that fit the larger mop head I had. I hope Rubbermaid keeps making these for a long time.

I recommend kink before cleaning
SUPRISE! I bought these to mops floors. These hold more water than the standard mop making cleaning the gym floors quicker and easier. IN the end, it is a mop head. Unless you are kinky, then it could be a wig, part of a hulu skirt, lots of things. If you are getting these for kinky reason, I recommend kink before cleaning. The dripping bleach water is sort of distracting.

It helps me mop the floors with ease.
The mop is good and works well for me. It is lightweight to hold so that I can mop more easily. I have used it to mop several times to clean up the mess completely on the stairs and living room. This one seems to be made of cotton and it's helpful to pick up the mess with ease and make the floors look brand new, very good!
