An excellent, well insulated boot - in kids sizes!
Let's be honest - kids boots are, for the most part, just not insulated well. 100g or 200g at most if you are lucky - and even then they are applying that rating to polyester or felt. These boots are for my 8 year old son and I went with the brand due to my own positive experience with a similar pair I have from Rocky. These boots are well made, obviously insulated with 800g of Thinsulate Ultra, have a nice toe cap to help with wear and tear and have deep tread. While it isn't quite fall yet, I am pretty confident that these boots are going to prove durable for an energetic 8 year old and, most importantly, keep his feet warm when playing outside during a cold Minnesota winter day. Update 12/6/13 -> after the past few days of cold weather here in the Upper Midwest (the high today was about 0) I can say that these boots do the trick. After his playing outside today for a while after school I asked him how his feet and toes were - he said they were just fine. Feeling his feet proved him correct - they were warm. Additionally, they have stood up well to the normal wear and tear from his wearing them this past fall; they still look almost brand new. Update 3/23/14 -> Still going strong! After being worn during the 'Polar Vortexes' we experienced this winter, the boots kept his feet warm. They are also continuing to hold up very well to all the wear and tear he subjects them to; they are still looking very close to "new". Have learned the following two things: 1) the boots dry fast as all the puddles lately have given him plenty of opportunities to get them wet and 2) the laces themselves didn't hold up wall that well; the fabric weave around the 'core' of the lace wore through. Replacing the laces isn't that big of an issue ($2.50 @ Target) and in no way reflects negatively on the boots themselves.

I wish I could get the right size for my grandson .my order says 6M but I get a 3M.
I tried ordering these boots 2 times because these are the boots my grandson likes to wear., he out grew his boots and I ordered a size 6M and recieved a size 3M , so I sent them back and reordered again a size 6M boot and what do I get is a size 3M again. So even though my grandson likes these boots , I won't reorder after I sent the second wrong size boot back to Amazon , because I dont get the size boot I need. I returned these boots, I do not have them! Ppl

Great product and shopping experience
They are nice boots! I ordered my son's current size then when I discovered he needed a half size larger the exchange process was super simple and quick. Great online shopping experience. We are doing more hiking due to COVID, and my son needed these. He seems very happy with them.

Great product
Purchased these for my son. He loves wearing them. Our winter weather has not quite hit yet, but from my own experience wearing Rocky Boots, I’m certain they will perform excellent as expected.

I love them my someone on a week long science fair trip they were in the woods the whole time kept his feet dry extremely comfortable and when he came back they still look Fantastic after week of walking through the woods and he was in Puddles his feet stayed dry and they are Well Worth the money

Took chance worked out great
Kids feet seem to stay warm and dry which is a big deal in northern Idaho’s hunting season. Impressed with the boot and happy with the cost as children are always outgrowing gear.

warm, waterproof and comfortable
These are warm, light weight and comfortable. I bought these for my daughter to wear when we go hunting and she hasn't complained of cold feet even in the snow. So far these are holding up well, which does kind of surprise me since I have had numerous problems with Rocky boots in the past, ever since they moved their manufacturing to another Country. I will update again after this winters wear and tear.

These ARE NOT steel toe like the add suggests. Nor are they waterproof.
