Great color
Needed to get a pin that was bright and wouldn’t walk away, very unique. I am a big fan of the “write in the rain” style pens, this is my new favorite one.

Nice pen
I found one of these pens on the ground a few weeks ago, so I decided to purchase another one. The pen is nice, and works beautifully. No flaws that I can see or feel, and the ink flows smoothly without skipping. I needed a pen that would still write room numbers for maintenance work orders at my job as a custodian, especially when the paper can sometimes get some cleaners spilled on it every so often.

Tacticool Pen
Not intended for use in self defense. Tacticool not Tactical. Otherwise, good sturdy pen with a strong metal sheath.

Love the style, not field friendly
Love the function, when it works. This style of pen is awesome but it doesn't seem to like dirt or dust. It refuses to stay extended, or extendes then refuses to retract, after being in a pocket in the field for a day or two

Extremely functional
Is it my favorite pen or the most comfortable to write with? No, but it does exactly what it was meant to. Works great on rite in the rain paper. A must have for anyone who works in tough conditions or outdoors and wants a pen that will write

Tough
Tough little pen for the money, however the olive drab coating started getting dinged off day one, leaving a bronze/brass color metal shining through.

It has to pass as a pen first.
The Pen is super rugged rough designed to just take what you give it and keep going. Designed to weather any Situation. What was forgotten is that Someone needs to use it in those situations. The pen is finished with something that feels like a powder coat the coating makes it feel VERY slick and will side right out of your hands. It has this beautiful taper at the end towards the writing end that makes it very VERY narrow right where you generally try to hold your pen. I feel like I have to strangle the pen just to keep a hand on it. The ink / ink cartridge is robust replaceable which is why I had interest in it. However buying just one of these sets you back 20 bucks I suspect it will last its cool its made in America but its not comfortable to use. If you are using it in these extreme conditions with grease, oil, water / in extreme temperatures it becomes even slicker. It looks very pretty in the Note books but that's what it feels like A paper weight a show piece. you can get it cheaper if you buy packs of 2 knocking down each pen to only 15 dollars but that still just doesn't feel worth it. If the design Leaves you entirely out of the picture. I use Zebra F-301 ballpoint and their V-301 fountain nib I use them EVERY-day at work they work great. The taper is shorter so you actually have a place to hold the pen there is a texturized space for you hand. I have left one in my glove box of my car for years and all it needs is a quick lick and 10 second of scribble to come back to writing. they also cost Less than 3 dollars for a solid feeling stainless steel pen. You wont break any windshields with it but it works well as a pen which is what you are trying to buy right? The rite-in-rain paper is awesome love the pads of paper but I feel like the end user wasn't thought about when it came to making some of these pens. Unless you are looking for a pen for your apocalypses kit I really don't think this is what you are looking for this isn't a pen I would want to use on the regular.

Cool, reliable pen with an addictive click
I love this orange pen. I'm a huge fan of the Fighting Illini and Chicago Bears. I see orange things and want them. Unfortunately, my wife just doesn't understand. When it comes to orange, this pen fits the bill. It arrived in pristine condition and, after several months of wear, remains near-perfect. (It may have a tiny divot in the coating where my cat chomped down... he, too, likes orange things.)(My wife just doesn't understand.) Beyond color, I like the pen's size: not too small; not too large. Stows away easily, with a sturdy clip. So, its a good every-day carry (EDC). First-responders and medical folks should appreciate this model, which is a rebranded Fisher Cap-O-Matic. Rite in the Rain merely added the good looks: safety orange paint under a smooth but grippy-enough glossy finish. I switched out the stock refill for a Fisher Space Pen PR1F (blue, fine point), which is my favorite of the Fisher refills -- I usually have one or two lying around. It's not the smoothest refill but, in my world, reliability is King. And this pen writes whenever and wherever you need it, regardless of weather extremes. Rite in the Rain refills are equally good (if not better), but the pen shipped with a medium point, and I prefer my points fine. Important: The click is very satisfying. I often carry this pen for the Fidget Factor alone. And of course, it looks great... and orange.

Great little pen with very few flaws
I use this whilst working in a warehouse and its not let me down yet. Writes on paper, card, stickers and my hand when covered in muck and grime with no problem. Not tried it in the rain yet (warehouse doesn't leak) but it does all that it claims to so far. If I were to nit pick the clip on it is REALLY tight which does make it secure but a pain to clip on and off sometimes. There are occasions where I've had to scrawl for a second or two to get the ink flowing but it's literally a second or two then it works fine. Writes at 90° vertical with no issues, metal casing is nice and strong (been dropped a few times and doesn't show it) and generally looks sexy and functional. The only other thing I'm not crazy about is that it can be pretty easy to unscrew the two halves. Never had it totally unscrew but a quarter turn every now and then makes me slightly twitchy. That's literally all I can criticise it on. Great little pen that I swear by to the point where I've just ordered myself a spare and my father and brother will be getting one for Xmas (along with the RiR pads which are also Lucille-level AWESOME) Nothing is indestructible or infallible but for the money this is as close as you can reasonably expect.

It works.
Engages easily and doesn’t sound very durable. Coating has lasted so far and does write well. For the price it isn’t bad, especially if you’re looking for a different looking pen

I like.
Very good pen

Nice pen, but it feels a little to fragile ...
Nice pen, but it feels a little to fragile for a pen of this type. Long-term durability is untested, but it looks great and functions well with Rite in the Rain notebook paper.
