Great item for teaching time
We got this to work on teaching time. Overall I really like it. My one complaint, that would not make me change my mind on purchasing, is that the piece that you attach to the back to set the clock on a table is a little easy to come undone with kids. We have been using it for about 2 months on a daily basis and it still works perfectly.

OK learning tool..not very sturdy
We bought this for my daughter who was struggling with word problems relating to time. It is nice that she can move the minute hand along while she counts, but it won’t stay standing when she touches it. The back piece is constantly popping off because it’s a completely separate piece instead of being attached like a picture frame. I also included a picture of what 9:55 looks like, because it is so close to the 10 it confuses her. I’ve had ones in the past that are clearly between the numbers so the learninf child can differentiate between the two. Any hour after the 45 minute mark confuses her, but other than that it’s a decent learning tool.

Hands don't move separately
This product needs to have hands that move independently from each other. You can't just swivel the hour hand to the next hour you want it to be at. You can only move the hour hand by cranking the minute hand all the way around the clock face. This makes it difficult to keep teaching and choosing random times.

Great little learning clock!
Cute little clock. Great for learning to tell time. Hands move smoothly. Hour hand moves accordingly when minute hand moves. Manual-does not keep time. Stand snaps in the back if you don’t want to stand Up. My daughter actually uses it at school too-calls it the “Judy” clock.

Should Have Read The Fine Print
Please be aware that this clock is super small… The only reason I’m not returning it, is because my son likes it. Ok learning tool I guess:/

The perfect visual tool for learning time and working through time lapse story problems!
My 3rd grader is learning about time right now in school. She’s finding the story problems very difficult. My husband and I are finding that it’s very hard to try to help her work through problems without some kind of visual aid. I looked to trusty Amazon to see what we could get that would be helpful. This has turned out to be the BEST learning tool we’ve ever purchased. I’m particularly happy that turning the minute hand all the way around the clock advances the hour hand. It helps when we are working through problems. I use it to quiz her, I’ll set the time and have her tell me what time it is, or I ask her to set it to a time. Then we can work out story problems together. Like if you want to be done with your homework by 6:15 and you have 25 minutes of reading to do, 15 minutes of science and 40 minutes of math, what time do you have to start your homework? These story problems used to end in a lot of frustration on all our parts. Now she takes her little clock and sets it for the time and moves the minute hand backward (or forward depending on the problem) to help her find the answer. I see that she’s more of a visual learner and this clock helped out a lot with that. So much so that she offered to pay me back for it, I of course declined, but it goes to show the value if your kiddo is struggling. I saw that other reviewers have mentioned that the minute hand gets off sync with the hour hand. Ours hasn’t had that problem, but I told my daughter to only ever move the minute hand and never try to hold the hour hand in place while moving the minute hand. It seems like it would be easy to realign them, but I’m not sure and I’m not willing to experiment on my perfect functioning clock. It also is a little smaller than I imagined it would be, but it’s perfect for little hands and the size makes it easy to store. I’m very pleased that it has a removable stand, it keeps it in a good position to see when doing homework.

Good resource for teaching kids
If your kids are struggling a bit with understanding quarter to and quarter past and tricky things like that then go for it

Smaller than expected, but useful!
Smaller than I expected- thought I was getting the full size ones they use in schools, but I should have read the description better. It’s quite good quality, should last a while even in the hands of a 4 year old, but given it’s size perhaps a little overpriced. Happy overall though.

Good product smaller that expected hands don’t move by themselves you have to go around the minutes to move the hr hand! Over all good product for learning. Would be better if you could move both hands separately but It’s good also so the kids can see each minute that passes it gets closer the the next hr.
