Worked great for a gift

This chest worked great for a Christmas gift I gave my husband—a pirate's chest of infused rums, chocolate gold coins and nuggets, and dice "jewels." I'd originally searched for a wood chest but couldn't find any for a reasonable price that were big enough to hold the bottles of rum. The lid feels slightly flimsy, like it might crack off someday, but it's holding up alright for now! He loved the gift and kept the chest to store his D&D stuff in.

Worth the money

My kid had a pirate themed party and this was one of the party props I got. I was going to maybe donate it after the party was over but the quality, shape, design were all great I decided to keep it for the kids playroom. Definitely worth the money even after a specific event.

You get what you pay for

The first one had a big crack in the lid. The replacement lid was loose. I kept it because I figured it was a lot to expect a truly sturdy plastic chest for this price.

Frisy pine was broken, replacement was great

The product I original received was broken. I contacted curtomer suport and a replacement was sent. I sent back the original item with the free shipping label Was very happy with the whole transaction. Bought to hol my grandsons seceret treasures.

Disappointed with Assembly

We ordered this so that we could try out a new reward system that was recommended to us for our daughter that has special needs. My daughter spent all weekend excitedly waiting for it to arrive. The simple instructions seem easy enough but step two says “firmly pinch the hinges” to snap the lid to the chest. This is laughably inaccurate for what has to happen to get this put together. I broke a writing pen trying to pull one side while pushing the other. It was so difficult I almost resolved that I would have to send it back. We got it though, and the silver lining seems that if it was that difficult to “snap” together, surely that sucker is FIRMLY on there now! Although the lid still isn’t perfectly secured on, it will never close 100% accurately. Just seems made cheaply/poorly or perhaps like we got a bad box. The most disappointing part though isn’t the 15 minutes of my life I spent putting the lid on this fun treasure box, it was the insanely large barcode sticker that will NOT easily come off and is leaving a terrible residue on the lid that seems to have really taken the remaining ounces of fun and excitement out of this for us today. My daughter struggles to accept things, and she is very much NOT okay with the aesthetics of this box right now. Why they didn’t put that on the bottom where it would make way more sense? I have no idea. She has said about 100 times (not lying she’s dysregulated and ruminating) that it shouldn’t be there and shouldn’t have been placed there. She doesn’t want to send it back she just doesn’t want it like that. Which seems fair. In hindsight of this experience I kind of wish I’d spent a little more (I found some only $10 or $15 more) and just bought a wooden one with a metal latch.

Nice pirate chest

Purchased to do a hidden treasure chest hunt activity. The plastic has held well so far even with my 4 year old trying to use it as a stool. The hing top does pop off somewhat easy. The snap back together with extra oomph.

Muy bonito y resistente

Está muy bonito, es plástico pero se siente resistente, parece de verdad, tiene un poco de relieve en sus detalles, llegó en perfectas condiciones muy bien empaquetado, lo único es que no tiene con que cerrar por el frente, me hubiera gustado un ganchito o algo para que se atore pero para lo que lo necesito no es indispensable que cierre bien
