Great gloves after some modification.

I purchased these gloves used in "Very Good" condition from amazon for the great price is $35. When I got them they looked like new. They are decent enough gloves from the factory, but have some design flaws. The elastic cuff cover is too loose to be functional, but too tight to be convenient (this may have been because they were used. It did not conform to the glove as shown in the picture). Also, the hook and loop straps are the same size, meaning after adjusting to your hand there are loose hooks tearing up threads on the strap. The glove also has no ventilation, so your hands will get hot. Other than that, the stitching seems solid enough, the padding is a good thickness and density, and with wraps on the contact area feels solid. I have rather large hands and without wraps it feels like I'm punching with my fingers and dragging my wrist down, but with the extra width around the knuckles from wraps everything feels good. After modifying the glove some, I love it. I pinched the elastic cover and sewed it so that it conforms to the cuff, offering decent wrist support without even doing up the velcro. If you want the extra support, you can just do up the velcro, but for light sparring it really isn't necessary. The glove's ergonomics are good enough that, if you have good form, just the support from the elastic should be enough. The support is great with the velcro though. I then cut a third of the velcro strap off and locked the stitching. This way I don't have loose hooks tearing stuff up. I also unstitched the scratchy tags on the inside and outside if the cuff. In the future I may perforate the palm, but for now it hasn't been a problem. Before the modifications I would give the glove a 3, but after it is an easy 5. Overall, it is a solid product for a solid price, and, if you are up for a little sewing, it can be a great glove.

Good for sparring, needs ventilation

I've had these gloves for about 3 weeks now. I use them for boxing/kickboxing training and sparring as well as heavy bag work. Since these are my workhorse gloves, they are going to get some heavy wear and tear. I chose these gloves as I needed something to really be a do it all glove, and I can say that so far these have delivered better than expected. The quality has been better than expected, and stitching seems to be holding up well so far. Pros: Soft IMF padding that is perfect for protecting your sparring partner, and your hands when working on some power punching. Velcro is covered by a mix of leather, on your gloves palm side, or cloth, so you don't scratch up your sparring partners face with velcro. Leather! Your getting full leather gloves at 60$ price point, no PU materials here! Colorway/branding - Not over the top like Venom gloves or RDX stuff. I don't want to be a walking billboard for the company, the branding on these gloves is pretty minimal and the colors are nice. Cons: No venting, and I mean none at all. There is no venting in the palms or thumb, your hands are going to get sweaty and so will these gloves. Get some glove dogs and make sure to keep these things on a rack or somewhere with fresh air to dry after every session. Takes a few sessions to figure out how to get these on without help. Most of the time I just leave the velcro covers folded up during training so I can get these on and off easier. I only pull the covers over the velcro for sparring.

Good for price

I’m 5’8 180 and the 14oz fit a bit snug , can’t wear wraps or they feel too tight or can’t close a tight fist .. not good On ventilation either .. Nice quality , especially for the price. Good hand protection also wrist support. Would recommend for bag work /sparring I think they’ll hold up . 3 months in everyday workouts

I got these strickly for sparring and they work great for that. I know some people have written negative comments about the sleave that rolls over the velcro but it's there to prevent scratches from the velcro on your opponents face. It takes a bit of getting used to but you get the hang of it after a few sessions. They are a little harder to break in than my other gloves but they fit great. I am very happy with them. I don't use them on the heavy bag at all so I can't comment on that.

Great glove to punch faces with

Gloves are very comfortable and allow for making a tight fist unlike the fairtex glove that feels loose to me( I have smaller hands). The velcro cover sleeve takes a little get use to. But overall great gloves

Love them! I use them for a boxing excercise class (which is pretty heavy bag intense). Upgraded from the cheaper Everlast gloves and I can totally feel the difference! I’m a 5’5 woman 140lbs (I got the 14 oz gloves). I honestly did not feel the “hurtful breakin period” everyone is talking about although my left had did take a while to set in.

The gloves are very comfortable, but I don't like the flap that covers the strap. I have a real difficult time getting the flap down on my own, I keep having to ask people to do it for me. That's the only thing that kept it from getting 5 stars.

Llevo un par de semanas utilizando estos guantes y desde el primer día los sentí súper cómodos absorben muy bien el impacto en costal y en sesiones de sparring por otro lado en los primeros días los sentí un poco ajustados, pero después de un parte de sesiones se han ajustado a mi mano, una sorpresa muy grande fue que no hicieron sudar mis manos como pensé, ya que no cuenta con agujeros de ventilación, pero a pesar de eso solo me sudo un poco la mano, todo esto tomando en cuenta que yo los uso alrededor de una hora y media 5 veces a la semana. Estos guantes se pueden tomar como una opción sería para entrenar y parasen ser muy duraderos, yo los recomendaría y desde luego Ringside es sinónimo de calidad en equipo de boxeo.
