Made For Steelhead
This net is perfect. Feels like good quality, has lanyard, rubber net, floats, durable, and is Cheap!! Perfect for steelhead season. I use a magnet on my pack and attach the included lanyard. 5 stars easy

Great little net
So far I have used this net to land exactly one fish... but it worked admirably. I was searching online for reviews of nets and stumbled onto a fly fishing guide's review of different nets. He recommended this net for its depth and affordability. There is no way any fish is going to be able to flip out of this net. I also like that the bottom is flat so that the rest of the net stays out of the way while you extract the hook. The one, very slight, issue I had was the supplied retention device is junk. It's an elastic band with a tiny carabiner that doesn't stay closed. I found a cheap magnetic device on Amazon to go with the net, and it worked perfectly.

Good big net
This is a lightweight net and worked well over a two week trip. It is big. May get snagged when bushwhacking. Updating review on second 3 week trip. I’m not sure if the coating has worn off the bag or the cause of the issue but my flies are constantly getting hooked in the net, not tangled but hooked. Almost every fish I land this is occuring. It’s frustrating to have to get your forceps out to pull your flies out of your net when fish are active. I had to change to a different net.

Awesome affordable trout net
Use this as my wading net while trout/smallmouth fishing. Lightweight, deep net, and large hoop, handle large fish with ease. Much more affordable than wooden nets of comparable size. Handle fits nice in the hand. Wish the handle was a bit longer but that’s just me nitpicking. Great net.

Good for Kayak use
Landed multiple species and it has worked great. Pulled a 37 lb Flathead in with it I caught on accident. Just put it over his head, grabbed his tail, and hoisted him in.

Great net
Shipped & recivied in a timely manner,looks sturdy,has a large basket & hoop opening,the handle is comfortable & the right length,lanyard can be removed if like me you need to put it in a net sleeve on a sling pack & not so long as to poke you in the back or fall out unexpectedly

Great net
I love this net and I love the rubber coating on the net itself. I have used the other type of rubber netting and this to me is more durable. I don't have to worry about getting a hook stuck and not even the smallest of wild trout can slip through these holes. Oh and the most important part..... the PRICE. I'm sorry but I just can't see myself paying $150 for a net so I can be a mascot for a certain other unmentioned company. If this net only lasts me one season I have got my money's worth.

Best option for fishing from a canoe.
It floats, so you won’t lose it. The short handle means that it’s easy to maneuver when in a small boat (like a canoe). You won’t be landing any trophy sized muskies in it, but it serves my purpose well!

Great net for a big day game????
I like it, the short handle is perfect for fishing on a canoe and river fishing. I used it for big salmon in the river too, it's pretty handy, light and durable. Love it.
