Low build quality on an otherwise great way gift making kit.

It is a simple loom with built-in, easy to follow instructions. I'd rather pay an extra few bucks for something that didn't feel flimsy and more like a kid's toy than a tool made for kids. It's nice, but could have been better.

fun activity for all ages

girls love to make bracelets for friends, etc. this is a fun activity. I love how you can follow the pattern and dont have to just do it yourself. I have even do one or two myself. It brings back memories from my childhood making bracelets.

Super Cute. But feels toy like.

I love this! Have been wanting to have one for the longest. Ever since I was a kid. But for one reason or another never did ... and finally decided why not! Let's splurge. It's great value for the money. But you definitely get more of a toy feel than you do a long-lasting crafting tool. It comes with some cheesy plastic buttons and closures that are easy enough to upgrade with a trip to the store.. but what i really like about this is not just the easy-to-follow directions on patterns but that it is self-contained. You can keep everything inside the "weaving machine" when you are done or just taking a break. Ingenious!

Good but too hard for my 7 year old to get the hang of. I thought the product was different, I’ll put it up and we’ll try again at a later time.

Instructions are complex and busy

This is a friendship making kit. It includes cord, patterns, a few charms, and a loom/case. The instructions are a huge fold out poster size paper and have like 10 different languages, and different steps of the same pattern are in different parts of the poster making it very hard for even an adult to follow. It recommends several times to watch the videos and provides a QR code but the videos on their website did not actually play. The knotting methods are a bit too complex for my 5 year olds; the kit is listed as 8+ so that is not a big surprise. Everything fits inside the loom except for the instructions; I'm not sure where to put those. Beyond that, the materials are good quality and it had enough to make quite a few bracelets.

Great gift for a young teen

This is a great kit for an older pre-teen or younger teen and makes a nice last minute gift to keep on hand for that birthday party that pops up on the calendar unexpectedly. Very enjoyable craft and the kids love to give the bracelets to friends when they're done.

Bought for my 7 year old, was a bit too complicated (yes, it says 8+ and I knew that!)

I bought this for my 7-year-old daughter thinking that she'd be able to do it. The box clearly states that it's for 8+, but she'd had plenty of toys that had older age ranges to them that she could do just fine. This one just requires a bit too much focus for her at this age, so I clearly made a judgement mistake thinking she could do these. They didn't go to waste though, my wife sat with her and helped her through the process, she was starting to get the hang of it by the time they were running out of supplies but we'll still probably hold off for another year or two before trying one of these again. Not a bad product, just requires a bit too much focus for my 7-year-old.

Really nice craft set for Preteens and Teens

My three preteen and teen granddaughters will be spending a good deal of the summer with their grandparents. This friendship bracelet maker will keep the kids busy and out of trouble, while creating a really cool bracelet. The kit comes with everything to make 20 bracelets, including a threading table to create the bracelet. I would recommend this craft kit for older youth to teens, but may be appropriate for younger girls with supervision. Overall, this is a great craft kit at a nice price - it also makes a good gift.
