Yes, I needed this
I could have ran to the local hardware store and picked up each of these items...or similar, the spacer being replaced with a socket....and probably been a few pennies cheaper. Used immediately on a 450 Bushmaster stuck case, and in a few minutes got it out. - recommend watching a few YouTube videos, it helps get the idea and there are alot of different ways to do this. Most involve this method of drill...tap...spacer and some sort of screw/bolt to gently remove the stuck case. - the spacer in this kit was a little small for a larger cartridge...I ended up using a taller socket and it worked just fine.

A must have for reloaders.
Nothing sucks more than a stuck case but this extractor works flawlessly.

A must have for all reloaders
What a pain in the ass when you get a stuck case. Nearly impossible to take out. I ended up spending more money on buying dies because I tried prying and hammering and doing all sorts of things to take out two cases on two separate occasions. After getting this and deliberately getting a case stuck for test purposes, this thing is awesome! Very easy to use and worth to have in your collection of tools as a reloader

Great Tool
Great tool to have when all of a sudden you find yourself with a stuck case. Easy to use, works well and just does exactly what it's attended to do. If you ever have a stuck case you'll be gad you have this tool on your reloading bench.

It plain works
Bought this because I guess I didn't throughly lube my 6.5 CM casings. On my LAST case I was going to reload that day I felt excessive resistance...and then a stuck case. Instead of pounding on the decapping pin, I decided to lookup a tool to remove stuck brass casings. Came across this here on Amazon and I cannot say enough good stuff. SAVE YOUR DIES AND BUY THIS! It pays for itself after the first use.

Works Great
Works great and easy to use. You can waste allot of time trying to get a stuck case out but this tool makes it quick and easy.

Everything you need but....
Abbreviated Review: A must have if you reload if only for insurance against a stuck cartridge. Disappointed that a t-handle isn't included for the included tap. ------- As a new reloader I needed this sooner than I thought ;-( The concept is simple enough: drill out the flash hole (with included drill bit), use the included tap to install threads and then use the included screw to provide tension against the included shell cap which removes the stuck case.... That's the theory anyway... I use an RCBS Rock Crusher Supreme and was happy to discover you can thread the die (with stuck cartridge) upside down (from the bottom) which provides a stable platform to work with the stuck cartridge as I do not have access to a real vise. Once secured I began the process of removing a stuck .223 case by : * Drilling out the flash hole: This kit includes a drill bit which made easy work of the .223 flash hole, just make sure you drill fully through flash hole. * Install threads: Included tap works fine with the BIG assumption you have some sort of device to twist it with. Opposite the tap is a square head which I couldn't get to sit squarely in my drill. In the absence of a t-handle I had to resort to pliers to hold the tap which for me wasn't ideal but managed to make it work. Make sure you create threads through the depth of the hole you drilled while drilling out the flash hole. * Use cam to remove stuck case: Install the included "cam" over the stuck shell and screw the included hex bolt into the threads you just installed. * Remove stuck case: The process of using the hex bolt to remove the stuck case requires varying amounts of elbow grease to provide enough tension to remove the case. This step almost begs for a sturdy vice so you can get as much leverage as possible to remove the case. I was able to do it without the case but it took much more time and effort than if the die had been secured in a vise. * Remove hex bolt: Once the case is removed you now need to remove the included hex bolt from the case which depending on the scenario could be as easy as unscrewing the bolt out or in one of my instances I had to cut the case off of the bolt. My first attempt at removing a stuck case gummed up the first 1/8" of the hex bolt resulting in having to grind that portion off before it would thread into the next case ;-( This was more related to the soft material of the shell brass than the hex bolt itself. Unfortunately I've had the "opportunity" to remove a couple of stuck cases with this kit. Each case took me about an hour each to remove, 20 minutes of that related to finding bits I carelessly lost on the floor and had to recover before continuing. The removal process was slow and tedious but there was no way the stuck cases were coming out without this kit....

Worked as advertised
I had a 308 case stuck in an RCBS die, and tried every tool I had to get it out, with no success. Bought this kit and got the case out in minutes. Would recommend to keep one on hand if you reload in any capacity at all.

A little expensive for what it is
You may already have the tools to remove a stuck case, like drill and tap bit, medium size washer or 1/4 - 20 screws. If you don’t, it’s a great kit. It should be way cheaper for what it is though.

It works.
Yup, it works.

Works flawlessly!
Really easy to setup and saves you A LOT OF TROUBLE! Forget every video you saw on YouTube where you can "McGiver" your way out with a bolt socket and everything. It cost me a Competition Resizer/Deprimer to finally decide to go buy a REAL stuck case remover kit. It really worth it... No problem removing any stuck case anymore.

I had one that i used it on and worked like a dream
I wish i had of bought it months earlier because i was having some problems with full length resizing do to using the spray lube and i destroyed my decapping rod when the shell got stuck in the die, and by the time i figured how to remove it i broke the pin retainer and bent the rod. With this RCBS Stuck Case Remover kit it works very slick. I had one that i used it on and worked like a dream. Would recommend it for sure.
